The study sought to observe which sources of financing were predominant in the investment support of Companhia Antarctica Paulista between 1891 and 1940. In this way, the balance sheets published by the company during the proposed period were gathered and analyzed. Subsequently, we analyzed the evolution of the origin of resources of the company. At the end of the research it was possible to conclude that the largest portion of the resources needed to expand the company was obtained through the capital market between the end of the nineteenth century and the end of the decade of 1910. However, financing through own resources showed increased participation throughout the 1920s, being the main source of funds of the company from 1922. The capital market resumed its growth in participation in the 1930s, returning to be the main source of funds of the company in 1937.
