Resumo: Introduction: Burns are characterized as one of the most serious traumas affecting the population, evidencing a global public health problem. It is known that simulation training can be a valuable tool for better clinical practice, as it provides the student with the experience of an event close to reality, application of their knowledge in full and with the possibility of reviewing errors, in an environment safe and controlled, which creates greater security for the student and minimizes errors when this student attends a real patient in the internship field or in professional life. Objective: To analyze the evidence available in the literature on the use of simulation as a teaching method on burn treatment with nursing and medical students. Method: This is an integrative literature review. Research question: What is the scientific evidence available in the literature on the use of simulation training as a teaching strategy for undergraduate nursing and medical students about the treatment of people with burn injuries? The inclusion criteria for the pre-selection of studies were: articles in English, Portuguese and Spanish, without a time frame. Exclusion criteria were duplicate articles, reviews, letters to the editor, editorial, brief comments and those that, after reading in full, did not respond to the purpose of this review. An instrument for critical assessment of methodological quality was used.Results: This is an integrative literature review. Results: The search was performed in the electronic databases/databases PubMed, LILACS, Web of Science and Embase, without determining the time limit. Initially, 281 potentially eligible studies were identified, 36 of which were duplicated in the electronic reference manager EndNote Web and, later, 9 in the Rayyan QCR software. Three scientific articles were included in this review. Students reported satisfaction with the tools used in the simulation; training by simulation through images of clinical burn cases in a simulated scenario, allowed the identification of themes such as patient-centered, realism and learning and the use of scenario-based simulation provides a structured and flexible model in the approach of students to the case clinic of a person with burn injuries. Conclusion: Active teaching strategies, such as the practice of clinical simulation, are important in the care of trauma caused by burn injuries as it allows students to understand their role in caring for people affected by these injuries. The realistic simulation prepares future nursing and medical professionals for clinical practice and for the development of skills, knowledge and attitudes in a controlled and safe environment.

São lesões dos tecidos orgânicos causadas por trauma de origem térmica e exposição a chamas, frio extremo, substâncias químicas, radiações, atritos, fricção, líquidos e superfícies quentes. O treinamento por simulação pode ser uma valiosa ferramenta para uma melhor prática clínica uma vez que proporciona ao estudante a experiência de um evento próximo da realidade, aplicação de seus conhecimentos em plenitude e com a possibilidade de revisão dos erros, em um ambiente seguro e controlado, o que gera maior segurança ao aluno e minimiza erros quando esse aluno atender um paciente real no campo de estágio ou na vida profissional. Objetivo: Analisar as evidências disponíveis na literatura sobre o uso da simulação como método de ensino sobre o tratamento de queimaduras junto a estudantes de enfermagem e medicina. Método: Trata-se de uma Revisão Integrativa da literatura. Questão de pesquisa: Quais são as evidências científicas disponíveis na literartura sobre o uso do treinamento por simulação como estratégia de ensino de estudantes de graduação em Enfermagem e Medicina sobre o tratamento de pessoas com lesões por queimaduras? Os critérios de inclusão para a pré-seleção dos estudos foram: os artigos nos idiomas inglês, português e espanhol, sem recorte temporal. Os critérios de exclusão foram os artigos duplicados, revisões, cartas ao editor, editorial, comentários breves e aqueles que, após a leitura na íntegra, não responderam ao objetivo dessa revisão. Foi utilizado instrumento para avaliação crítica da qualidade metodológica. Resultados: A busca foi realizada nas bases/bancos de dados eletrênicos PubMed, LILACS, Web of Science e Embase, sem determinação de limite temporal. Inicialmente foram identificados 281 estudos potencialmente elegíveis, sendo 36 duplicados no gerenciador eletrônico de referências EndNote Web e, posteriormente, 9 no software Rayyan QCR. Foram incluídos nessa revisão três artigos científicos. Os estudantes reportaram satisfação com as ferramentas utilizadas na simulação; o treino por simulação por meio de imagens de casos clínicos de queimados em cenário simulado, possibilitou a identificação de temáticas como paciente-centrado, realismo e aprendizado e o uso de cenário baseado em simulação fornece um modelo estruturado e flexível na abordagem dos estudantes ao caso clínico de pessoa com lesões por queimaduras. Conclusão: As estratégias de ensino ativo, como a prática de simulação clínica é importante no cuidado aos traumas por lesões por queimadura uma vez que possibilita aos alunos compreender seu papel nos cuidados às pessoas acometidas por essas de lesões. A simulação realista prepara os futuros profissionais de enfermagem e medicina para a prática clínica e para o desenvolvimento de habilidades, conhecimentos e atitudes em ambiente controlado e seguro.application/pdfporUniversidade Federal de AlfenasPrograma de Pós-Graduação em EnfermagemUNIFAL-MGBrasilEscola de Enfermageminfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccesshttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/Estudantes de EnfermagemEstudantes de MedicinaTreinamento por SimulaçãoQueimadurasCIENCIAS DA SAUDE::ENFERMAGEMTreinamento por Simulação de Estudantes de Enfermagem e Medicina no Tratamento de Queimaduras: Revisão Integrativa.info:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersion-3204580530536360493600600-7702826533010964327reponame:Repositório Institucional da Universidade Federal de Alfenas - RiUnifalinstname:Universidade Federal de Alfenas (UNIFAL)instacron:UNIFALGomes, Darlene MoreiraLICENSElicense.txtlicense.txttext/plain;
