Resumo: Given the characterization of violence as a public health problem, Brazil has implemented strategies notification of this disease to enable the identification of priorities to be treated by public policies that might actually restrain, prevent and promote health. This is an epidemiological descriptive exploratory observational, cross-individual study design aimed analyze the quality of information on domestic, sexual and other violence generated from the database of Disease Notification System compulsory ( SINAN ) in the state of Minas Gerais in the years 2010-2011, as well as characterize the calls reported. To analyze the quality of the incomplete data and inconsistencies in data reporting forms / research were evaluated. Inconsistencies were assessed using an instrument designed to define the possible noncompliance among related fields. How incomplete data were considered as the records filled ignored or unfilled. A categorization was performed as follows: low (<10% of records without filling), fair (11-30%) and high (> 30%). The characterization of notified cases was performed by analysis of sex, age group, race / skin color of the victims, place of occurrence and relationship to the perpetrator, compared to the typology of violence. For descriptive and analytical statistical analyzes SPSS version 17 software was used, using the Chi-square test, Fisher's Exact settled 95% confidence and a margin of error of 5%.Through analysis of 22,755 records it was found 36.5 % of the notification forms contained at least one unconformity , 0.4 % had characteristics of accidents and 5.1% referred to the cases of extra-familial violence ( crime / delinquency ), whose victims were adults ( 20-59 years) male, which in strategy adopted by the Ministry of Health, is not subject to notification in this database. Thus, totaling 42% of inconsistencies. The characterization was performed by analysis sex of victims, age group, race / ethnicity, place of occurrence and relationship to the perpetrator, compared to the typology of violence. The profile of the victims, in general, consists mainly of women, youth (20-29), and blacks. The primary site of occurrence is the residence and the relationship with the abuser undergoes variation according to age group analyzed the typology of violence. Except sexual violence and neglect / abandonment, in other typologies main offender was represented by intimate partners. There was a higher prevalence of mothers (20.3%) as executors of the violent act in neglect / abandonment and unknown (34.4%) in reports of sexual violence. Among adolescents aged 10-14 known by the victim (25.6%) were the biggest offenders and those aged 15-19 the largest portion was represented by romantic partners (19.9%). In children (0-9 years) the most commonly reported perpetrators were the mother (17%) and father (14.8%). In the elderly (60 and over) were prevalent, sons (20.9%) as aggressors. Regarding the sex of the authors of aggression 51% of them were men.The results allow, through critical analysis of the database, excluding inconsistencies, collect data on violence for targeting of health in addressing the problem. Further efforts are needed in improving the completeness and consistency of information. The mandatory reporting of violence by the health sector is a strategy that enables the advancement in visibility and in confronting the scourge, however, is still evident, the necessity of establishing a national policy for regular monitoring of the quality of information produced in Brazil, conducted by the Ministry of Health

Further efforts are needed in improving the completeness and consistency of information. The mandatory reporting of violence by the health sector is a strategy that enables the advancement in visibility and in confronting the scourge, however, is still evident, the necessity of establishing a national policy for regular monitoring of the quality of information produced in Brazil, conducted by the Ministry of HealthDiante da caracterização da violência como problema de saúde pública, o Brasil tem implementado estratégias de notificação do agravo para possibilitar a identificação de prioridades a serem tratadas pelas políticas públicas que realmente possam coibir e prevenir esse fenômeno e promover a saúde da população exposta. Este é um estudo epidemiológico descritivo-exploratório de desenho individual-observacional-transversal que objetivou analisar a qualidade das informações sobre violência doméstica, sexual e outras geradas a partir do banco de dados do Sistema de Agravos de Notificação compulsória (SINAN) no estado de Minas Gerais nos anos de 2010-2011, bem como caracterizar os atendimentos notificados. Para a análise da qualidade, foram avaliadas as incompletitudes e inconsistências dos dados nas fichas de notificação/investigação. As inconsistências foram verificadas por meio um instrumento elaborado com definição das possíveis inconformidades entre os campos relacionados. Como incompletitudes, foram considerados os registros preenchidos como ignorados ou em branco. A categorização foi realizada da seguinte forma: baixa (< 10% de registros sem preenchimento); regular (11 a 30%) e alta (> 30%). A caracterização dos casos notificados foi realizada por meio da análise do sexo; da faixa etária; da raça/cor da pele das vítimas; do local de ocorrência e da relação com o agressor, comparadas à tipologia da violência. Para as análises estatísticas descritivas e analíticas, foi empregado o software SPSS, versão 17, utilizando o teste Qui-quadrado, o Exato de Fischer com estabelecimento de 95% de confiança e margem de erro de 5%. Por meio de análise de 22.755 registros, verificou-se que 36,5% das fichas de notificações continham ao menos uma inconformidade; 0,4 % apresentavam características de acidentes e 5,1 % referiam-se a casos de violência extrafamiliar (criminalidade/delinquência), cujas vítimas eram adultos (20 a 59 anos) do sexo masculino, que, por estratégia adotada pelo Ministério da Saúde, não são objeto de notificação por esse banco de dados. Totalizaram-se, assim, 42 % de inconsistências. O perfil das pessoas atendidas, de forma geral, consiste principalmente de mulheres, jovens (20-29 anos) e pretos. O principal local de ocorrência é a residência e a relação com o agressor sofre variação de acordo com a faixa-etária analisada e com a tipologia da violência. Excetuando a violência sexual e a negligência/abandono, nas demais tipologias o principal agressor foi representado pelos cônjuges/companheiros. Houve maior predomínio de mães (20,3%) como executoras do ato violento nas negligências/abandonos e de desconhecidos (34,4%) nas notificações de violência sexual. Entre os adolescentes de 10-14 anos os conhecidos da vítima (25,6%) foram os maiores agressores e entres aqueles de 15-19 anos a maior parcela foi representada pelos parceiros amorosos (19,9%). Em crianças (0-9 anos) os agressores mais reportados foram a mãe (17%) e o pai (14,8%). Nas notificações em idosos (60 anos e mais) houve predominância dos filhos (20,9%) como agressores. Em relação ao sexo dos autores da agressão 51% deles foram homens. Os resultados permitem, por meio de análise crítica do banco de dados, com exclusão das inconsistências, a caracterização do perfil da violência para o direcionamento das ações de saúde no enfrentamento ao problema. Ainda são necessários esforços no aprimoramento da incompletitude e da consistência das informações. A notificação compulsória de violência pelo setor saúde é uma estratégia que possibilita o avanço na visibilidade e o enfrentamento ao flagelo, no entanto, evidencia-se, ainda, a necessidade da instituição de uma política nacional de monitoramento regular da qualidade das informações produzidas no Brasil, conduzida pelo Ministério da Saúde.application/pdfporUniversidade Federal de AlfenasPrograma de Pós-Graduação em EnfermagemUNIFAL-MGBrasilEscola de Enfermageminfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccesshttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/ViolenciaNotificação de abusoVigilância em saúde públicaCIENCIAS DA SAUDE::FARMACIAViolência no Estado de Minas Gerais : análise do sistema de informação de agravos de notificação compulsóriainfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersion-32045805305363604936006006997636413449754996reponame:Repositório Institucional da Universidade Federal de Alfenas - RiUnifalinstname:Universidade Federal de Alfenas (UNIFAL)instacron:UNIFALFilardi, Monique Borsato SilvaLICENSElicense.txtlicense.txttext/plain;
