Resumo: | This dissertation consists in a case study with a qualitative and quantitative approach, which includes in loco observation and descriptive and exploratory research. In his goal is to describe how this happens the communication process in General Hospital Menandro Faria in the municipality of Lauro de Freitas-BA. With the aim of delivering work to a shared form to HGMF we opted for action research. Participants were 416 healthcare professionals within the hospital staff universe who answered the questionnaire within their perception of communication in the hospital. A reflection on the importance of communication is made in this hospital, whose role is preponderant in the development of structured health practices, aiming at quality in the execution of clinical practice. Show up the key attributes that favor or hinder interpersonal communication between health team and suggest the most relevant parameters for creating the action plan for the HGMF. Health organizations are social systems consisting of subsystems that operate on standard activities, performed in a complementary and interdependent manner, involving structures; persons; technologies; services; products and an own communication system. The hospital is a more complex type of organization; due to the fact its network of activities and services is very extensive. In this context, a communication produces good results and is effective in that information flows more quickly and easily favors the organization. The analysis of organizational communication in the perception of health professionals indicates is internal communication of the factors driving the hospital's success. Communication is of importance in patient care and the health team interrelationships. It was found that the HGMF has a working communication with some weaknesses because of the context in which it operates, although the information flow through informal communication. Professionals use of informality to tackling inter sectoral and intra sectoral. The study also showed that planned and coordinated internal communication can facilitate administrative processes, being able even to improve the services provided and offer assistance with more quality, because through it there is room for dialogue, incentives and experiences of socialization. For this to happen there needs to be integration between the hospital management and the health team. Therefore, through the results, it is considered that the informal organizational communication and a planned action increase the effectiveness and efficiency of internal communication in a public hospital, driving the success of the healthcare organization. |

Quanto ao seu objetivo busca descrever como acontece o processo de comunicação no Hospital Geral Menandro de Faria no município de Lauro de Freitas-BA. Com o intuito de realizar um trabalho de forma compartilhada ao HGMF optou-se pela pesquisa ação. Os participantes foram 416 profissionais de saúde dentro do universo de funcionários do hospital que responderam o questionário dentro de sua percepção da comunicação no hospital. É feita uma reflexão sobre a importância da comunicação nesse hospital, cujo papel é preponderante no desenvolvimento de práticas estruturadas de saúde, com vistas a qualidade na execução de práticas clínicas. Evidenciam-se os principais atributos que favorecem ou dificultam a comunicação interpessoal entre a equipe de saúde e se apontam os parâmetros mais relevantes para a criação de um plano de ações para o HGMF. As organizações de saúde são sistemas sociais constituídos por subsistemas que atuam em atividades padronizadas, executadas de forma complementar e interdependente, envolvendo estruturas; pessoas; tecnologias; serviços; produtos e um sistema de comunicação própria sendo o hospital considerado o tipo mais complexo de organização, devido ao fato de sua rede de atividades e serviços ser muito extensa. Nesse contexto, uma comunicação que produza bons resultados ou seja produza bons resultados, em que a informação flui com mais rapidez e facilidade favorece a organização. A análise da comunicação organizacional na percepção dos profissionais de saúde indica ser a comunicação interna um dos fatores que impulsionam o sucesso do hospital. A comunicação assume uma relevância na assistência ao paciente e nas inter-relações da equipe de saúde. Verificou-se que o HGMF possui uma comunicação operante, com algumas fragilidades em virtude do contexto em que se insere, embora as informações fluam através da comunicação informal. Os profissionais utilizam da informalidade para resolver as situações inter setoriais e intra setorial. O estudo mostrou ainda que a comunicação interna planejada e coordenada pode facilitar os processos administrativos, sendo capaz, inclusive, de aperfeiçoar os serviços prestados e oferecer uma assistência com mais qualidade, pois através dela há espaço para diálogo, estímulos e socialização de experiências. Para que isso aconteça, há necessidade de uma integração entre a gestão do hospital e a equipe de saúde.
