Social technologies include products, processes, techniques or methodologies re-enforced, developed and/or applied in the interaction with the community, and that represent solutions of inclusion and social transformation. In this way, social technologies are presented as simple and low-cost alternatives that can be appropriated by family farmers. For Thiis reason, this research had as objective to analyze the results of the reapplication of a social technology of agroecological production, denominated "Agroecological Production under protected cultivation (greenhouse), Diversified Orchard and Source", to the family farmers in the territory Cantiquiriguaçi, state of Paraná. This is a case study with a qualitative approach. To collect data, we chose documentary research, direct observation and semi-structured interview application to family farmers who implemented social technology and the actors responsible for its reapplication in the studied territory. As results, the research confirmed that social technology meets all the principles and characteristics referenced in the literature as: reapplication, social transformation, participatory development, local contextualization, simplicity, low cost and feasibility of popular enterprises. The analyzes still showed a greater proportion of benefits resulting from the reapplication of social technology, than in relation to the costs and failures of the process, if this condition is referred to the characteristics of TS itself. The study demonstrated the importance of the participation of social actors in the process of reapplication of social technology and the development of other actions in order to develop family farming in Cantuquiriguaçu territory. In general, research may reaffirm the importance of social technologies as an alternative for the sustainable development of family enterprises. Thus, the research reaffirms the importance of social technologies as an alternative for the sustainable development of family enterprises, serving as a reference for reapplication in other communities in Brazil and for the encouragement of practices and public policies that initiatives for the development, implementation and reapplication of social technologies in Brazil.
