Resumo: Introduction: The importance of women, newborns and family members receiving adequate care during pregnancy, childbirth, puerperium and neonatal period is emphasized. Guiding care with a set of actions in health promotion, is fundamental for Rede Mãe Paranaense, as well as promoting health care at all levels of care. But in the hospital environment where care is focused on curing the disease, encourage Health promotion is to ensure a quality of care. Objective: To analyze the profile of puerperal women and newborns attended at hospitals of three Regional Health Centers of the state of Paraná, Brazil, and to evaluate the support and support for newborn care in a hospital environment. Methodology: Descriptive study of quantitative nature that was developed in municipalities of three Health Regions (RS): 9th RS of Foz do Iguaçu, 10th RS of Cascavel and 17th RS of Londrina, Paraná, southern Brazil. Data collection was performed by means of a structured instrument, which took place in 2017 between March and July, and was performed by fourth-year nursing students. Quantitative data were analyzed using the Student's t-test with 95% reliability, and for the qualitative variables, the chi-square test or Fisher's exact test was performed. Results: The three health regions totaled 1270 interviews, 397 in the 9th RS, 385 in the 10th RS and 488 in the 17th RS. Among the questions about support and help to perform the first care with the NB (p=0.000) the highest affirmative rate was in the 9th with 92.4% (367), followed by the 10th with 87.0% (335) and last 17th with 79.5% (388). Regarding which professional who helped, all regionals indicated as Nurse or Nursing Resident, being 92.4% (339) in the 9th RS, 88.1% (297) in the 10th RS and 82.3% (325) in the 17th Regional. Baby bathing (p=0.000) for mothers can be a stressful and delicate task, but the responses were positive, 90.7% (360) in the 9th RS, 77.7% (299), in the 10th RS and 73.4%. (358) on the 17th RS indicated that they received help. Regarding the hygiene of the umbilical stump there was a statistical difference between the regional (p=0.000), in the 9th RS, with 91.1% (358); in the 10th RS, with 81.3% (313); and in the 17th RS, with 77.5% (378) of the mothers mentioned that they received help. Regarding perineal hygiene and diaper change (p=0.000), bladder (p=0.000) and intestinal elimination of the baby (p=0.000), there was a statistical difference between the regional ones, such care also obtained affirmative answers. Regarding breastfeeding, the mothers said they received some support or help from a professional, obtaining 90.4% (359) in the 9th RS; 71.9% (277) in the 10th RS and 85.2% (416) in the 17th Regional. Regarding the guidelines on the advantages of exclusive breastfeeding, all regionals obtained a significant percentage in the “yes” answers, being 72.8% (289); 71.9% (277); 64.8% (316), respectively. About the correct grip orientation, breastfeeding on demand and the importance also a percentage of affirmative answers. Conclusion: The assistance to the newborn in the three Health Regions showed that there is care practice, including the nurse, who assists the mother in this period, corroborating the health promotion in the hospital environment.

Orientar la atención con un conjunto de acciones en la promoción de la salud es fundamental para Rede Mãe Paranaense, así como promover la atención de la salud en todos los niveles de atención. Pero en el entorno hospitalario donde la atención se centra en curar la enfermedad, alentar La promoción de la salud es garantizar una calidad de atención. Objetivo: Analizar el perfil de las mujeres y recién nacidos puerperales atendidos en hospitales de tres Centros Regionales de Salud en el estado de Paraná, Brasil, y evaluar el apoyo y el apoyo a la atención del recién nacido en un entorno hospitalario. Metodología: Estudio descriptivo de naturaleza cuantitativa que se desarrolló en municipios de tres Regionales de Salud (RS): noveno RS de Foz do Iguaçu, 10ª RS de Cascavel y 17ª RS de Londrina, Paraná, sur de Brasil. La recopilación de datos se realizó utilizando un instrumento estructurado, que tuvo lugar en 2017 entre marzo y julio, y fue realizado por estudiantes de enfermería de cuarto año. Los datos cuantitativos se analizaron utilizando la prueba t de Student con un 95% de fiabilidad, y para las variables cualitativas, se realizó la prueba de chi-cuadrado o la prueba exacta de Fisher. Resultados: Las tres regiones de salud totalizaron 1270 entrevistas, 397 en la novena RS, 385 en la décima RS y 488 en la 17ª RS. Entre las preguntas sobre el apoyo y la ayuda para realizar la primera atención con el NB (p=0.000), la tasa afirmativa más alta fue en el noveno con 92.4% (367), seguido por el décimo con 87.0% (335) y último 17ª, con 79.5% (388). Con respecto a qué profesional que ayudó, todos los regionales indicaron como Enfermera o Residente de Enfermería, siendo 92.4% (339) en el noveno; 88.1% (297) en el décimo y 82.3% (325) en el decimoséptimo Regional. El baño de bebés (p=0.000) para las madres puede ser una tarea estresante y delicada, pero las respuestas fueron positivas, 90.7% (360) en el noveno, 77.7% (299) en el décimo y 73.4%. (358) el 17 indicaron que recibieron ayuda. En cuanto a la higiene del muñón umbilical hubo una diferencia estadística entre los regionales (p=0,000), en el noveno con 91.1% (358); en el 10 con 81.3% (313); y en el 17 con el 77.5% (378) de las madres mencionaron que recibieron ayuda. En cuanto a la higiene perineal y el cambio de pañales (p=0.000), vejiga (p=0.000) y eliminación intestinal del bebé (p=0.000), hubo una diferencia estadística entre los regionales, dicha atención también obtuvo respuestas afirmativas. Con respecto a la lactancia materna, las madres dijeron que recibieron algún apoyo o ayuda de un profesional, obteniendo 90.4% (359) en el noveno, 71.9% (277) en el décimo y 85.2% (416) en el decimoséptimo regional. Con respecto a las pautas sobre las ventajas de lactancia materna exclusiva, todos los regionales obtuvieron un porcentaje significativo en las respuestas "sí", siendo 72.8% (289); 71,9% (277); 64.8% (316), respectivamente. Acerca de la orientación correcta del agarre, la lactancia materna bajo demanda y la importancia también de un porcentaje de respuestas afirmativas. Conclusión: La asistencia al recién nacido en las tres Regiones de Salud mostró que existe una práctica de cuidado, incluida la enfermera, que ayuda a la madre en este período, corroborando la promoción de la salud en hospitales.Introdução: Salienta-se a importância da mulher, neonato e os membros da família receberem um atendimento adequado durante o período de gestação, parto, puerpério e neonatal, pautando uma assistência com um conjunto de ações em promoção à saúde, o que é fundamental para a Rede Mãe Paranaense, bem como promover o cuidado em saúde em todos os níveis de atenção. Porém, no ambiente hospitalar, onde o cuidado é focado na cura da doença, estimular a promoção em saúde é garantir uma qualidade na assistência. Objetivo: Analisar o perfil de puérperas e recém-nascidos atendidos em hospitais de três Regionais de Saúde do estado do Paraná, Brasil, e avaliar o apoio e suporte para o cuidado do recém-nascido em ambiente hospitalar. Metodologia: Estudo descritivo de cunho quantitativo que foi desenvolvido em municípios de três Regionais de Saúde (RS): 9ª RS de Foz do Iguaçu, 10ª RS de Cascavel e 17ª RS de Londrina, Paraná, Região Sul do Brasil. A coleta de dados foi realizado por meio de um instrumento estruturado, ocorreu no ano de 2017 entre os meses de março e julho, sendo realizada por acadêmicos do quarto ano do curso de enfermagem. Para a análise dos dados quantitativos, foi realizado o teste t de Student, com 95% de confiabilidade, e para as variáveis qualitativas foi realizado o teste de qui-quadrado ou teste exato de Fisher. Resultados: As três Regionais de Saúde totalizaram 1270 entrevistas, sendo 397 na 9ª RS, 385 na 10ª RS e 488 na 17ª RS. Dentre as questões, sobre apoio e ajuda para executar os primeiros cuidados com o RN (p=0,000), a maior taxa de afirmativas foi na 9ª RS, com 92,4% (367), seguida da 10ª RS, com 87,0% (335), e por último, a 17ª RS, com 79,5% (388). Sobre qual profissional que prestou ajuda, todas as Regionais apontaram como enfermeira ou residente de enfermagem, sendo 92,4% (339) na 9ª RS, 88,1% (297) na 10ª RS e 82,3% (325) na 17ª Regional. O banho do bebê (p=0,000), para as mães, pode ser uma tarefa estressante e delicada, contudo, as respostas foram positivas, 90,7% (360) na 9ª RS, 77,7% (299) na 10ª RS e 73,4% (358) na 17ª RS apontaram que receberam ajuda. Sobre a higiene do coto umbilical, houve diferença estatisticamente entre as Regionais (p=0,000), na 9ª RS, com 91,1% (358); na 10ª RS, com 81,3% (313) e na 17ª RS, com 77,5% (378) das puérperas citaram que receberam ajuda. Em relação à higiene perineal e à troca de fraldas (p=0,000), eliminação vesical (p=0,000) e intestinal do bebê (p=0,000), observa-se diferença estatística entre as Regionais. Esses cuidados também obtiveram respostas afirmativas. Sobre a amamentação, as puérperas afirmaram que receberam algum apoio ou ajuda de um profissional, obtendo 90,4% (359) na 9ª RS; 71,9% (277) na 10ª RS e 85,2% (416) na 17ª Regional. Em relação às orientações sobre as vantagens do aleitamento materno exclusivo, todas as Regionais obtiveram uma porcentagem significativa nas respostas “sim”, sendo 72,8% (289); 71,9% (277); 64,8% (316), respectivamente. Sobre a orientação de pega correta, amamentação em livre demanda e importância desta, também houve uma porcentagem de respostas afirmativas. description Introduction: The importance of women, newborns and family members receiving adequate care during pregnancy, childbirth, puerperium and neonatal period is emphasized. Guiding care with a set of actions in health promotion, is fundamental for Rede Mãe Paranaense, as well as promoting health care at all levels of care. But in the hospital environment where care is focused on curing the disease, encourage Health promotion is to ensure a quality of care. Objective: To analyze the profile of puerperal women and newborns attended at hospitals of three Regional Health Centers of the state of Paraná, Brazil, and to evaluate the support and support for newborn care in a hospital environment. Methodology: Descriptive study of quantitative nature that was developed in municipalities of three Health Regions (RS): 9th RS of Foz do Iguaçu, 10th RS of Cascavel and 17th RS of Londrina, Paraná, southern Brazil. Data collection was performed by means of a structured instrument, which took place in 2017 between March and July, and was performed by fourth-year nursing students. Quantitative data were analyzed using the Student's t-test with 95% reliability, and for the qualitative variables, the chi-square test or Fisher's exact test was performed. Results: The three health regions totaled 1270 interviews, 397 in the 9th RS, 385 in the 10th RS and 488 in the 17th RS. Among the questions about support and help to perform the first care with the NB (p=0.000) the highest affirmative rate was in the 9th with 92.4% (367), followed by the 10th with 87.0% (335) and last 17th with 79.5% (388). Regarding which professional who helped, all regionals indicated as Nurse or Nursing Resident, being 92.4% (339) in the 9th RS, 88.1% (297) in the 10th RS and 82.3% (325) in the 17th Regional. Baby bathing (p=0.000) for mothers can be a stressful and delicate task, but the responses were positive, 90.7% (360) in the 9th RS, 77.7% (299), in the 10th RS and 73.4%. (358) on the 17th RS indicated that they received help. Regarding the hygiene of the umbilical stump there was a statistical difference between the regional (p=0.000), in the 9th RS, with 91.1% (358); in the 10th RS, with 81.3% (313); and in the 17th RS, with 77.5% (378) of the mothers mentioned that they received help. Regarding perineal hygiene and diaper change (p=0.000), bladder (p=0.000) and intestinal elimination of the baby (p=0.000), there was a statistical difference between the regional ones, such care also obtained affirmative answers. Regarding breastfeeding, the mothers said they received some support or help from a professional, obtaining 90.4% (359) in the 9th RS; 71.9% (277) in the 10th RS and 85.2% (416) in the 17th Regional. Regarding the guidelines on the advantages of exclusive breastfeeding, all regionals obtained a significant percentage in the “yes” answers, being 72.8% (289); 71.9% (277); 64.8% (316), respectively. About the correct grip orientation, breastfeeding on demand and the importance also a percentage of affirmative answers. Conclusion: The assistance to the newborn in the three Health Regions showed that there is care practice, including the nurse, who assists the mother in this period, corroborating the health promotion in the hospital environment.
