Resumo: The present dissertation presented the economic effects for the city of Toledo, with the existence of empty lots in the region of the expanded center, being this a small part of the territory of the city, summarized in two districts, Centro and La Salle. The focus of the response was the general objective, which sought to identify and analyze economically the existing urban voids in the expanded center of the city. Using documentary data from the municipality of Toledo, bibliographical references, applying simple dissertation statistics, to estimate the economic loss and field research using secondary data to collect information from the city hall. The result found through the research was that the municipality ceases to collect more than 13 million without updating the empty lots only in the research area, so that can conclude that the tax update is really valid.

O enfoque da resposta foi por meio do objetivo geral, que buscou identificar e analisar economicamente os vazios urbanos existentes no centro expandido do município. Se utilizando de dados documentais do município de Toledo, referenciais bibliográficos, aplicando estatística dissertiva simples, para fazer a estimativa do prejuízo econômico e pesquisa de campo se utilizando de dados secundários para levantamento de informações da prefeitura municipal.
