Resumo: This study aims at analising the discursive genre Critical-Interpretive Commentary (CIC) from essays written by candidates for the entrance exam of the State University of West Paraná - UNIOESTE. CIC is one of the three genres currently required for the test; however, there are no studies on it and, hence, the need to investigate how it is evaluated by the Permanent Board of Correction. Thus, we question is: how is the discursive genre interpretive-critical commentary configured from the essays corrected by the evaluation board of Unioeste? To answer the question, we try to configure the discursive genre interpretive-critical commentary from these essays. In order to achieve the proposed objective, the research is based on the theoretical assumptions of Applied Linguistics and on the Bakhtinian concepts of utterance and discourse genre. This research is characterized by being of a social nature, with a qualitative approach supported by document analysis. Data generation is based on documents related to Unioeste entrance exams: public notices and candidate manuals, ten essays analyzed to CIC essays that obtained high marks in the 2018 and 2019’s as well as two essays that obtained low grades, from the same entrance exams. The analyzed texts were selected in order to observe what the Board of Correction, from the candidate manual, considers pertinent to CIC, in accordance with the criteria established for the correction of the writing test in the candidate's manuals. As a result of this study, we consider the importance of the dialogic movement “comprehend-criticize” as the staple element of CIC discursive genre.

El CIC es uno de los tres géneros que actualmente se exigen para la prueba, sin embargo, no existen estudios sobre el mismo y, por ello, se justifica la necesidad de investigar cómo es evaluado por el Consejo de Corrección Editorial Permanente del Vestibular. En este sentido, la pregunta es: ¿cómo se configura el género discursivo comentario interpretativo-crítico a partir de los ensayos corregidos por los revisores del Vestibular de Unioeste? Para responder a la pregunta, se pretende configurar el género discursivo comentario interpretativo-crítico a partir de estos ensayos. Para lograr el objetivo propuesto, la investigación se basa en los supuestos teóricos de la Lingüística Aplicada y en los conceptos bakhtinianos de enunciado y género del discurso. Esta investigación se caracteriza por ser de carácter social, de enfoque cualitativo, con análisis documental. La generación de datos se establece a partir de los documentos relacionados con los vestibulares de Unioeste: edictos y manuales del candidato, además de los diez ensayos del CIC que obtuvieron altas calificaciones en los vestibulares de 2018 y 2019, así como dos ensayos que obtuvieron bajas calificaciones, de los mismos exámenes de ingreso. Los textos analizados fueron seleccionados con el fin de observar lo que el tribunal corrector, del manual del candidato, considera pertinente para el CIC, según los criterios establecidos para la corrección de la prueba de escritura en los manuales del candidato. Como resultado de este estudio, consideramos la importancia del movimiento dialógico "interpretación-crítica" como elemento principal del género discursivo CIC.Esta pesquisa de Mestrado procura configurar o gênero discursivo Comentário Interpretativo-Crítico (CIC) a partir de redações elaboradas pelos candidatos para a prova de redação do vestibular da Universidade Estadual do Oeste do Paraná – UNIOESTE. O CIC é um dos três gêneros exigidos atualmente para a prova, porém, não há estudos sobre ele e, por essa razão, justifica-se a necessidade de investigar como é avaliado pela Banca Permanente de Correção da Redação do Vestibular. Para tanto, questionamos: como se configura o gênero discursivo comentário interpretativo-crítico a partir das redações corrigidas pela banca avaliadora do Vestibular da Unioeste? Para responder à questão, intentamos configurar o gênero discursivo comentário interpretativo-crítico a partir dessas redações. Na perspectiva de alcançar o objetivo proposto, sustenta-se a pesquisa nos pressupostos teóricos da Linguística Aplicada e nos conceitos bakhtinianos de enunciado e gênero do discurso. Esta pesquisa caracteriza por ser de natureza social, de abordagem qualitativa, com análise documental. A geração de dados se estabelece a partir dos documentos relativos aos vestibulares da Unioeste: editais e manuais do candidato, além das dez redações de CIC analisadas que obtiveram notas altas nos vestibulares de 2018 e 2019, bem como duas redações que obtiveram notas baixas, dos mesmos vestibulares. Os textos analisados foram selecionados com o intuito de observar o que a banca corretora, a partir do manual do candidato, considera pertinente ao CIC, de acordo com os critérios estabelecidos para a correção da prova de redação nos manuais do candidato.
