Resumo: This Reflective Critical Report is the result of a research and intervention that aimed to promote training activities along with the City Department of Education, Alberto Pasqualini School, and the Association of Fishermen, for there organization of the course base don’t he subject worker perspective in a way that new courses not suffer because school evasion. The research method used opted to look for the people who have evaded the course, and the motivations that led them to abandon the course, a voiding only a theoretical discussion of these possibilities. It also presents an intervention project applied to sectors involved in proposals drawn up from the results obtained in the research. The intervention project aimed to discuss ways to follow, in order that new courses that will be offered do not present high levels of evasion, thus fulfilling its role to assist such subject to completion of primary education. The research and intervention project were carried out with a group of fishermen students of the Fisheries and Aquaculture course (PROEJA-FIC – Certific Program) from the EMEF Alberto Pasqualini, in the Manoel Viana city, western border of the Rio Grande do Sul state, in the South of Brazil. The research showed that many of the problems that led to the high student evasion rate occurred dueto the course design and implementation, the selection of students, and the information needed by all those involved, from students, teachers, and the school management team. The proposed intervention was permeated by these factors in order to trigger discussions in the light of know ledge and the need soft he subjects involved in the process, the students of the course where the research was applied.

A metodologia de pesquisa utilizada optou por buscar nos indivíduos que se evadiram do curso as motivações que os levaram a abandonar o curso, evitando assim apenas uma discussão teórica dessas possibilidades. Apresenta ainda um projeto de intervenção aplicado aos setores envolvidos com propostas elaboradas a partir dos resultados obtidos na pesquisa. Este projeto de intervenção buscou discutir caminhos a serem seguidos para que novos cursos que venham a ser ofertados não apresentem índices elevados de evasão, cumprindo dessa forma o seu papel de levar esses sujeitos à conclusão do ensino fundamental. A pesquisa e o projeto de intervenção foram realizados com uma turma de pescadores alunos do curso PROEJA - FIC – Rede Certific de Pesca e Aquicultura da EMEF Alberto Pasqualini no município de Manoel Viana, fronteira oeste do estado do Rio Grande do Sul, na Região Sul do Brasil. A pesquisa mostrou que muitos dos problemas que levaram ao alto índice de evasão estavam nos processos de concepção e implantação do curso, na seleção dos alunos e nas informações necessárias a todos os sujeitos envolvidos, desde os alunos, professores e equipe diretiva da escola.
