Resumo: | This dissertation addresses the Education of Ethnic-Racial Relations (ERER) and Law 10.639/2003 in Arroio Grande/RS. Our research problem was how to address ERER with education professionals, ensuring that we have a significant implementation of this topic in elementary schools in Arroio Grande/RS? The general objective was to build, through the continued training of education professionals, the strengthening of ERER in the school context, aiming at the promotion of racial equality. The research subjects were education professionals from this municipality who worked in elementary schools. Our research has a qualitative approach of the intervention research type, divided into three moments. The first was the initial diagnosis; the second moment was characterized by interventions; and the third moment was the creation of the Implementation Plan of the Municipal Curricular Guidelines of Arroio Grande/RS for Education of Ethnic-Racial Relations and the Teaching of African, Afro-Brazilian and Indigenous Peoples' History and Culture, as a technical-technological product of our work. We can conclude that continued education is the path to achieving the implementation of Laws No. 10.639/2003 and No. 11.645/2008. Our interventions were a positive experience, which can be extended to other schools and education professionals in the municipality of Arroio Grande/RS, and also to other municipalities. The participation of education professionals and representatives of black movements gave authenticity and strength to the collective construction of the technical technological product, the fruit of this work |

Nosso problema de pesquisa foi como abordar a ERER com os profissionais da educação, fazendo com que tenhamos uma efetivação significativa desse tema nas escolas de Ensino Fundamental de Arroio Grande/RS? O objetivo geral foi construir, através da formação continuada dos profissionais da educação, o fortalecimento da ERER no contexto escolar, visando a promoção da igualdade racial. Os sujeitos da pesquisa foram os profissionais da educação deste município que atuavam nas escolas de Ensino Fundamental. Nossa pesquisa teve uma abordagem qualitativa do tipo pesquisa-intervenção, dividida em três momentos. O primeiro foi o diagnóstico inicial; o segundo momento caracterizou-se pelas intervenções; e o terceiro momento foi a criação do Plano de Implementação das Diretrizes Curriculares Municipais de Arroio Grande/RS para Educação das Relações Étnico-Raciais e o Ensino da História e Cultura Africana, Afro-Brasileira e dos Povos Indígenas, como produto técnico tecnológico de nosso trabalho. Podemos concluir que a formação continuada é o caminho para que se consiga chegar a uma efetivação das Leis nº 10.639/2003 e nº 11.645/2008. Nossas intervenções foram uma experiência positiva, que pode ser estendida às demais escolas e profissionais de educação do município de Arroio Grande/RS, e também para outros municípios.
