Resumo: Covid-19 was discovered in Wuhan (Hubei province) in December 2019, and became a worldwide pandemic in 2020, reaching people of all genders, ages, with or without comorbidities. This action of Covid-19 has increased interest in analysis and studies of the disease, for this reason the objective of this work is to analyze the profile of severity markers for Covid-19 and neutralizing antibodies for a better management of the condition or evolution of pre-vaccination patients, as well as oxidative stress in a group of 141 patients admitted to the Santa Casa de Caridade de Uruguaiana. For the confirmation of the RNA of SARS-CoV2, an examination was performed using the Polymerase Chain Reaction in Real Time (RT-PCR), from April 2020 to January 2021. The consent form was signed by the patient and/or family member during hospitalization and the present study was authorized by the Ethics and Research Committee of UNIPAMPA (CEP-UNIPAMPA), under number 20200910185239. Of the 141 patients evaluated, 75 were men (53.2%) and 66 were women (46.8% ). The mean age was 60.11 years, standard deviation (±15.3). The main comorbidity found in our results was systemic arterial hypertension with 64 patients (45.4%), followed by diabetes with 36 patients (25.5%), obesity with 24 patients (17%), respiratory disease with 11 patients ( 7.8%), cardiovascular disease with 11 patients (7.8%), kidney disease with 4 patients (2.8%), neoplasia with 3 patients (2.1%) and infectious disease with 1 patient (0.7%). Our results were found in a period when the vaccine was not available to humanity, presenting these profiles which in the 12 current period may present different results, since the current profile of patients hospitalized for Covid-19 are patients without a vaccination schedule, children and patients with comorbidities.
