Resumo: | This work aims to contribute to the environmental planning of the Guaiçarinha Stream Watershed, in the Álvares Machado City, São Paulo, Brazil, with the application of a planning proposal that aims to contribute to the identification of the environmental state of the watershed. For this, it was made a literature review of theorical and methodological knowledge of environment planning, watershed management, water resources management, landscape geoecology, and the identification and analysis of the status of Permanent Preservation Areas and various environmental laws, etc. The methodology used methodological conceptions of Rodriguez (1994), Rodriguez and Silva (2013) and Leal (1995), with the completion of the steps Organization, Inventory, Diagnosis, Prognosis and Propositions, including the elaboration of thematic maps and synthesis, using the Geographic Information System (GIS), Global Positioning System (GPS), field work, analysis and systematization of data and information. It is expected that the results and proposals can support environmental planning this watershed by the government and management agencies, including the city hall of Álvares Machado and the Pontal do Paranapanema Watershed Comittee |

It is expected that the results and proposals can support environmental planning this watershed by the government and management agencies, including the city hall of Álvares Machado and the Pontal do Paranapanema Watershed ComitteeO presente trabalho tem como objetivo principal contribuir com o planejamento ambiental da bacia hidrográfica do Córrego Guaiçarinha, localizada no município de Álvares Machado, São Paulo, Brasil, com a aplicação de uma proposta de planejamento que visa contribuir para a identificação do estado ambiental dessa bacia hidrográfica. Para tanto, realizou-se a revisão bibliográfica sobre conhecimentos teóricos e metodológicos de planejamento ambiental, gestão de bacias hidrográficas, gestão de recursos hídricos e geoecologia da paisagem, bem como sobre identificação e análise da situação das Áreas de Preservação Permanente (APP) e diversas legislações ambientais, entre outros. A metodologia empregada partiu das concepções metodológicas de Rodriguez (1994), Rodriguez e Silva (2013) e Leal (1995), com a realização das etapas de Organização, Inventário, Diagnóstico, Prognóstico e Proposições, incluindo a elaboração de mapas temáticos e de síntese, utilizando o Sistema de Informação Geográfica (SIG), Sistema de Posicionamento Global (GPS), trabalhos de campo, análise e sistematização de dados e informações.
