Resumo: This study aims, a rescue of the work of Vicent Di Grado and his participation as a cover artistic on Publisher Book Club, between the years 1943 and 1976. Therefore, observed the evolution history of publishing market in Brasil, comprising as it did the start of editorial design. Going by the book's structure, its final product, permeating its various forms to exist, as well as forms of perception by the reader. Holding up the covers, the object of study and reflection of this work, exploring its components, often forgotten and their compositions. Taking advantage of the tools of the Information Design and Graphical Analysis, is to understand how the design process can be used to produce visual structures of possible readings. Understanding how the construction of the formal-aesthetic covers Vicente Di Grado during the 1960s undergoes changes and influences, presenting an overview of his legacy, still unexplored by studies

Para tanto, se observou a evolução histórica do mercado editorial no Brasil, compreendendo como se deu o início do design editorial. Passando pela estrutura do livro, seu produto final, permeando suas diversas formas de existir, assim como suas formas de percepção pelo leitor. Prendendo-se nas capas, objeto de estudo e reflexão deste trabalho, explorando seus componentes, muitas vezes esquecidos e suas composições. Se valendo das ferramentas do Design da Informação e de Análise Gráfica, se compreende como o processo de design pode ser utilizado para elaborar estruturas visuais possíveis de leituras.
