Resumo: | This work is a reflection and analysis of the relation between family and school and the challenges to be faced by these institutions. The objective is to identify the function of the family and school in the educational sphere, as well as pointing the current problems. For the nature of study, the research was adapted as a methodological aproach based on concrete experiences with students, teachers, parents, administrators and coordinators of public schools. The methodology is ruled by the analysis of quality along with the reflection of a universe of meanings that envolves aspiration, beliefs, values, attitudes, violence among others, that interfere in these institutions. It was verified that, with the economic, politic and social advancement, starting specially with the entrance of the women in the work market and the globalization effects, begins a process of transformation and changes of the family and school s status quo . It s also pointed, the current problems of the family with its crises and its destruction and weakness, that also demands a new educational position from school. Nowadays we face families that seem to have forgotten their origins, function, rules and basis. These loss are due to the loss of moral, ethics and religious values that reduces the human being to na adapted human being, with no reflection of the current system. It s through the family and through its basis along with the school support that the opportunities of the world are shown. The great challenge remains in the partneship that families and schools must keep aiming the complete education of the children and teenagers. For that, it s up to school to develop a truly democratic, participative and collective deliberation, followed by art, dialogue and discussion to soften the crises, bringing the parents to school. |

O objetivo era identificar as funções da família e da escola no campo educacional, bem como apontar os problemas atuais. Pela natureza do estudo, adotou-se como abordagem metodológica a pesquisa bibliográfica alicerçada em vivências concretas com alunos, professores, pais, gestores e coordenadores de escolas públicas da educação básica. A metodologia pautou-se na análise qualitativa, acompanhada de reflexões em um universo de significados envolvendo aspirações, crenças, valores, atitudes, violências e outros, que interferem nessas instituições. Constatou-se que, com os avanços econômicos, políticos e sociais a partir principalmente da pós-modernidade, com a entrada da mulher no mercado de trabalho e os efeitos da globalização, iniciou-se um processo de transformações e mudanças que possibilitaram alterações do status quo vigente nas famílias e na escola. Aqui se coloca o problema atual da família com as propaladas crises e sua desestruturação e enfraquecimento, que exigem da escola também novas posturas educacionais. Depara-se na atualidade com famílias que parecem ter esquecido suas origens, funções, normas e fundamentos. Essas perdas devem-se ao desaparecimento dos valores morais, éticos e religiosos, que reduzem o ser humano a um ser adaptado sem reflexão e mantenedor do sistema vigente. É através da família e das suas bases de apoio que as portas do mundo se abrem, com o suprimento da escola. O grande desafio encontra-se na parceria que as Famílias e a Escola devem manter objetivando a formação integral da criança e do adolescente. Para tanto, compete à escola desenvolver uma gestão verdadeiramente democrática, participativa, com deliberações coletivas, acompanhadas da arte, do diálogo e da discussão para amenizar as crises, trazendo os pais para a escola.Made available in DSpace on 2016-01-26T18:49:34Z (GMT).
