Resumo: Urban Mobility is a condition that allows people to move around a city. Promoting social and economic relations through different sustainable means of transport, such as cycling in Presidente Prudente-SP, are conscious and environmentally beneficial choices that are becoming increasingly popular in large cities. Segregated cycle lanes are alternatives to facilitate travel and reduce chaotic traffic. To propose assertive and preventive measures in the implementation of cycle paths, it is essential to consider cyclists in the transport system and define levels of segregation for different routes. Signs help cyclists and drivers share roads safely, reducing accidents and risks for pedestrians. The objective of the study was the 5 cycle path routes in the municipality, analyzing the local infrastructure for bicycle traffic and the conservation of the cycle path. This is a basic bibliographic and documentary research, descriptive and explanatory with a qualitative approach and deductive method. Unsystematic observation at cycle path locations in the municipality. The work raises the following questions: How does the implementation of cycle paths and cycle lanes enable Sustainable Urban Mobility and encourage the use of bicycles as a means of transport? How does this happen in cities? The hypothesis adopted in this work is that the implementation of cycle paths in the municipality did not meet the standards of the Urban Mobility Plan (PMU) and this had negative effects on the population. In the process of defining the Sustainable Urban Mobility framework, it is possible to conclude some possible results obtained on the role of cycle paths, with a special focus on the benefits of sustainable mobility, and understand how cycle paths are perceived and used by different social groups. Information on social and cultural aspects of urban mobility in Presidente Prudente-SP highlights the importance of cycle paths. Guidelines for public policies and development of cycling infrastructure.

Promover relações sociais e econômicas através de diferentes meios de transporte sustentáveis como o modal cicloviário em Presidente Prudente-SP, são esscolhas conscientes e benéficas para o meio ambiente que estão se popularizando cada vez mais nas cidades grandes. Ciclovias segregadas são alternativas para facilitar deslocamento e reduzir o trânsito caótico. Para propor medidas assertivas e preventivas na implantação de ciclovias, é fundamental considerar o ciclista no sistema de transporte e definir níveis de segregação para diferentes vias. Sinalizações ajudam ciclistas e motoristas a compartilhar vias com segurança, reduzindo acidentes e riscos para pedestres. O objetivo do estudo foram os 5 percursos das ciclovias no município, analisando a infraestrutura local para o tráfego de bicicletas e a conservação do cicloviário. Trata-se de uma pesquisa básica bibliográfica e documental, descritiva e explicativa com abordagem qualitativa e método dedutivo. Observação assistemática nos locais de ciclovia no município. O trabalho traz como questionamentos: Como a implantação de ciclovias e ciclofaixas possibilitam a Mobilidade Urbana Sustentável e induz a utilização da bicicleta como meio de transporte? Como isso acontece nas cidades? A hipótese adotada neste trabalho é que a implantação cicloviária no município não atendeu às normas do Plano de Mobilidade Urbana (PMU) e isso teve efeitos negativos para a população. No processo de definição referencial de Mobilidade Urbana Sustentável, pode-se concluir alguns possíveis resultados obtidos sobre o papel das ciclovias, com um foco especial aos benefícios da mobilidade sustentável, e, entender como as ciclovias são percebidas e utilizadas por diferentes grupos sociais. Informações sobre aspectos sociais e culturais da mobilidade urbana em Presidente Prudente-SP destacam a importância das ciclovias.
