Resumo: | This study aims to investigate the Class Council, a collegiate body of an essentially pedagogical character, present in the school organization to act as a democratic collective assessment space. The general purpose of this study is to evaluate if the inclusion of parents in the composition of this body, has effectively made of it a democratic space for collective assessment by a participative way, and as to promote changes in pedagogical practices looking forward to promoting improvements in the quality of teaching as well as in the learning success of pupils. The specific objectives are centered on some questionings, as to whether, this collegiate body welcomes the reflection processes of making decisions, opinions and suggestions coming from students and parents, what indicates the decentralization of decision-making power, thus the progressive character of democratic management through participation. To verify if the pedagogical practices have been changed in order to cause improvements in the quality of teaching and academic success of students, equipping them for citizenship. To examine the concept assigned by the members of this School Board to the term "participation" to identify its alignment to the concept of democracy. The problem posed wonder if the participation of parents and students in the Class Council along with other members (managers and teachers) has contributed to the transformation of the management practices, and consequently to the educational actions, raising levels of participation in the decisions made, indicating that the students have improved their development of learning, of attitudes, of behavior - providing tools to the exercise of citizenship? The methodological choice fell on the phenomenological and qualitative approach, through the analysis of primary sources, consisting of documents of the school collection. Being this a study case related to one of the school collegiate - the Class Board and understood as a social phenomenon resulting from pedagogical practices, inserted into the social living human reality. This object of study will be interpreted as it really happens in a meaningful reality to explain the collective choices adopted, the relevance of such decisions and the results obtained. The final consideration shows the Class Council as an enabling and empowering space of the collective work in which the participation in the management assumes the role of reorganizer of the collective pedagogical work in a progressive perspective, through the analysis of learning outcomes presented in two-month base, grade or year, which reflect the current historical moment in which this school assessment is going on, an instrument that expresses a transitional stage, which oscillates between the qualifying and graduating practices , movement among other things affected by school culture and educational culture, legal norms and the existing public policies, especially the ones from the State Department of Education of São Paulo State. |

O objetivo geral desse trabalho é saber se a inclusão de pais na composição desse Colegiado, fez dele efetivamente um espaço democrático de avaliação coletiva pela via da participação, para promover as transformações nas práticas pedagógicas visando à conquista de melhorias nos níveis de qualidade do ensino e sucesso escolar dos alunos. Os objetivos específicos estão centrados em alguns questionamentos, para saber se, esse órgão colegiado acolhe após processos de reflexões para a tomada de decisões, as opiniões e sugestões de alunos e pais de alunos, o que indica a descentralização do poder de decisão, consequentemente, o caráter progressivo da concepção de gestão democrática pela via da participação. Verificar se as práticas pedagógicas foram transformadas no sentido de promover melhorias na qualidade do ensino e sucesso escolar dos alunos, instrumentalizando-os para o exercício da cidadania. Examinar o conceito atribuído pelos membros desse Colegiado Escolar ao termo participação para identificar o seu alinhamento com o conceito de democracia. O problema apresentado busca saber se, a participação de pais e alunos no Conselho de classe junto com os demais membros (gestores e docentes) contribuiu para as transformações das práticas gestoras, e consequentemente, das ações educativas, elevando os níveis de participação nas decisões indicando que os alunos melhoraram o desenvolvimento da aprendizagem, das atitudes, do comportamento, instrumentalizando-se para o exercício da cidadania? A opção metodológica recaiu sobre o estudo de caso numa abordagem fenomenológico-qualitativa, por meio da análise das fontes primárias, constituídas por documentos do acervo escolar. Por se tratar de um estudo de caso relacionado a um dos colegiados escolares o Conselho de Classe compreendido como fenômeno social decorrente das práticas pedagógicas, inserido dentro da realidade humana socialmente vivida. Esse objeto de estudo, será interpretado como ele realmente acontece numa realidade significativa para explicar as escolhas coletivas adotadas, a relevância dessas decisões e os resultados obtidos. As considerações finais apresentam o Conselho de Classe como um espaço propiciador e fortalecedor do trabalho coletivo, no qual a participação na gestão assume o papel de reorganizador do trabalho pedagógico coletivo numa perspectiva progressista, por meio da análise dos resultados da aprendizagem apresentados no bimestre, série ou ano, que refletem o atual momento histórico pelo qual passa a avaliação nessa escola, instrumento que expressa um estágio de transição, que oscila entre as práticas classificatórias e as formativas, movimento afetado entre outras coisas pelas circunstâncias do contexto social, cultura da escola, cultura escolar, normas legais vigentes e pelas políticas públicas especialmente as da Secretaria de Estado da Educação do Estado de São Paulo.Made available in DSpace on 2016-07-18T17:54:17Z (GMT).
