Resumo: This research presents a comparative study between the ISDB - TB and the second generation of European standard DVB - T2 systems. As a case of study it is demonstrating the information construction technique from the multiplexer system to the signal construction stage for both systems. The ISDB -TB system presents diferent blocks and processing techniques when compared to DVB - T2. On the other hand, these structures have the same principle and can be divided into four stages named source encoding, channel coding, modulation and transmission which are valid for both systems. The diferences and similarities since BTS data entrance to ISDB - TB as well T2-MI to DVB - T2, up to base band generation are presented. The measurements were performed in laboratory and TOV (Threshold of Visibility) criterion was used to analyse both systems performances. Emulations for performance analysis occurred in a channel on the interference (sensibility) absence and in a noisy channel. The noises considered in the experiments were white noise, impulsive noise, multipath and multiple-echoes. These measurements were applied to both studies patterns. The final part of this work presents both systems performance.

The final part of this work presents both systems performance.Esse trabalho apresenta um estudo comparativo entre os sistemas ISDB - TB e a segunda geração do padrão europeu DVB - T2. Como estudo de caso é demonstrado a técnica de construção da informação a partir do sistema multiplexador até o estágio de construção do sinal para ambos os sistemas. O sistema ISDB - TB apresenta diferentes blocos e técnicas de processamento quando comparado ao DVB - T2. No entanto, essas estruturas possuem o mesmo princípio podendo ser dividido em quatro estágios denominados de codificação da fonte, codificação de canal, modulação e transmissão que são válidos para os dois sistemas. As diferenças e similaridades são apresentados desde a criação do BTS para o ISDB - TB, assim como o T2-MI (Modulator Interface) para o DVB - T2, até o processo de geração do sinal em banda base. Obtido o conhecimento da tecnologia de ambos os sistemas foram realizados testes utilizando 6 MHz de banda. As medições foram realizadas no laboratório e utilizou-se o critério TOV (Threshold of Visibility) para análise de desempenho de ambos os sistemas. As emulações para análise de desempenho ocorreram num canal na ausência de interferências (sensibilidade) e num canal ruidoso. Os ruídos considerados nos experimentos foram o ruído branco, ruído impulsivo, multipercurso e múltiplos ecos. Tais medições foram aplicadas para ambos os padrões estudados.
