Resumo: The aim of to evaluate the nutritional value of the diets, the feeding behavior, the production characteristics and the physicochemical composition of the milk of goats fed with different nitrogen sources (soybean meal, cottonseed meal, cottonseed and urea). Twelve goats, AlpinaXSaanen, were used at 30 days of lactation, randomly distributed in three simultaneous 4x4 latin squares. The dry matter and nutrients consumption did not differ (P> 0.05), except for the consumption of ethereal extract that differed (P <0.05) among the treatments, being superior in the treatment containing cotton seed. Among the apparent digestibility coefficients, only the neutral detergent fiber showed a significant difference (P <0.05), being higher for the treatment containing cottonseed meal and lower for the treatment containing urea. The characteristics evaluated in the ingestive behavior were not affected (P> 0.05) in relation to the different nitrogen sources, except for the feed efficiency of the neutral detergent fiber, which showed a difference (P <0.05), with greater efficiency for the treatment containing cottonseed meal. Regarding milk production, somatic cell count, food efficiency, pH, temperature and density were not influenced by treatments (P >0.05). The percentage of fat, lactose (g / day) and lauric and stearic fatty acids were influenced by different nitrogen sources (P <0.05). Thus, it can be concluded that the nutritional value, production and composition of the milk of goats fed with different nitrogen sources were not negatively influenced by the diets. The diet containing cotton seed provided an increase in the amount of desirable fatty acids.

Thus, it can be concluded that the nutritional value, production and composition of the milk of goats fed with different nitrogen sources were not negatively influenced by the diets. Submitted by Mario BC (mario@bc.ufrpe.br) on 2017-06-06T15:04:03Z No. of bitstreams: 1 Laura Priscila Araujo Amaro Maciel.pdf: 826394 bytes, checksum: c6acaf6e268e1d05275dfc67c803b72a (MD5)Made available in DSpace on 2017-06-06T15:04:03Z (GMT).
