Balanço de minerais e função renal em caprinos recebendo dietas à base de palma forrageira e diferentes níveis de casca de soja

Objective of this work was to evaluate the minerals balance and kidney function the diets based on spineles cactus and different levels of soybean hulls in place of the hay tifton. It was used five goats, castrated, without racial pattern set, equipped with permanent rumen cannula, with average live weight of 40 kg. The experiment was to 5 x 5 latin square. The experimental treatments consisted of increasing levels of soybean hulls, in the proportions of 0, 6.25, 12.5, 18.75 and 25% of the diet. The inclusion of the soybean hulls increased the consumption of crude protein and boosted digestilidade of dry, organic matter, crude protein and carbohydrate not fibrous. The blood concentrations of calcium increased (P <0.05) linearly according to the inclusion of bark in the diet and magnesium, the response was quadratic (P<0.10).The urinary concentrations of potassium and chlorine decreased linearly (P<0.10) with the inclusion of the soybeans hulls. The intake of water has not increased (P>0.01) depending on the addition of bark, but urine volume, rate of formation of urine and excreta fractional rates of urea, calcium, potassium and chlorine increased linearly (P <0.10) with the levels of soybean hulls. The inclusion of the soybean hulls in the diet of goats provided no imbalance of macrominerals: calcium, phosphorus, chlorine and sodium, but led todecrease in urine volume and rate of formation of urine.
