Resumo: The aim of this study was to evaluate thermal comfort level in distorted small-scale models of green-roofs submitted rural shelters. The study was carried out during April 1 to May 31 2015, lasting 61 experimental days, at the experimental area of Agricultural Engineering Department, from (UFRPE), in Recife-PE. Meteorological variables of air temperature (ºC) and air relative humidity (%) were recorded inside the small-scale models dataloggers. While the same variables were recorded outside the shelters using an automatic meteorological station. In order to perform thermal analysis of the small-scale models green roof, it was used thermal images from the internal roof surface obtained by a thermographic camera. It was used a completely randomized design, in which four treatments were used, green roof of chanana (Turnera subulata) (TVc), margaridinha (Sphagneticola trilobata) (TVm), salsa (Ipomoea asarifolia) (TVs) and roof of fiber cement (Tfib), in which four replicates, summing up to 16 small-scale models. Tukey’s test (p < 0.05) was used in order to compare treatments’ means. Green roofs (TVc, TVm e TVs) promoted air temperature reduction inside the small-scale models in (0,71 °C; 0,19 °C e 0,35 °C) and internal surface temperature reduction inside of coverages in (1,5; 0,8 e 0,8 oC), compared with to the roof of fiber cement (Tfib). Small-scale models submitted green roof of chanana presented the best thermal performance and air temperature reduction inside its shelter.

A pesquisa foi realizada no período de 01 de abril a 31 de maio de 2015, com 61 dias de duração, na área experimental do Departamento de Engenharia Agrícola, na (UFRPE), no município de Recife-PE. As variáveis meteorológicas de temperatura do ar (ºC) e umidade relativa do ar (%), foram registradas no interior dos modelos reduzidos por meio de dataloggers. No ambiente externo as variáveis meteorológicas foram registradas por uma estação meteorológica automática. Para análise térmica do telhado dos modelos reduzidos, foram utilizadas imagens térmicas, obtidas por uma câmera termográfica, da superfície interna dos telhados. O delineamento experimental foi o inteiramente casualizado, onde foram utilizados 4 tratamentos, telhado verde de chanana (Turnera subulata) (TVc), telhado verde de margaridinha (Sphagneticola trilobata) (TVm), telhado verde de salsa (Ipomoea asarifolia) (TVs) e telhado de fibrocimento (Tfib), com 4 repetições, o que totalizou 16 modelos em escala reduzida. Para comparação entre as médias, utilizou-se o teste de Tukey (p < 0,05). Os telhados verdes (TVc, TVm e TVs) promoveram redução da temperatura do ar no interior dos modelos reduzidos em (0,71; 0,19 e 0,35 °C) e reduziram a temperatura da superfície interna das coberturas em (1,5; 0,8 e 0,8 oC), em comparação com o telhado de fibrocimento (Tfib).
