Resumo: The team of nurses at the Hospital for Rehabilitation of Craniofacial Anomalies (HRAC / USP / Bauru) follows the systematic assistance to instruct caregivers / day. Plans for a systematic assistance in an individualized way. This occurs from the time of admission of the case until his discharge, they will be relevant to monitoring care in home-related post-operative surgical wounds for surgery of lips and palate (cheiloplasty and palatoplasty). Therefore, the subject is the management of oral health in order that the prevention of the risks of complications until complete healing of these surgeries will be minimized through the guidelines made by the nurses. It is reported and discussed in this study these protocols and procedures.

Planeja a sistematização de assistência de maneira individualizada. Este estudo teve como objetivo descrever e discutir as atividades assistenciais realizadas no pós-operatório de queiloplastia e palatoplastia. Como método, optou-se pela vertente descritiva, documental, pois o material de análise e reflexão foi o Manual proposto por Freitas (1974) que descreve as orientações aos enfermeiros, sua equipe e cuidadores.
