Processo autogestionário nas reuniões de trabalhadores/as da Feira Permanente de Economia Popular Solidária: limites, contradições e possibilidades

The objective of this research was to understand the limits, the contradictions and the possibilities of the self-management process experienced in the ordinary meetings of the workers of the Permanent Fair of Popular Solidarity Economy (FPEPS). For this, we used the qualitative approach, which supported the methodological choice for participant research through the case study of FPEPS located in Curitiba-Paraná. The corpus of this research consisted of bibliographic, documentary and field research. The bibliographic research has deepened scientific studies on the following themes: work; social inequality; the participation; Solidarity Economy and self- management; technology and social inclusion and solidary technoscience. About the documentary research, 19 minutes of the FPEPS ordinary monthly meetings, which took place between February 2018 and November 2019, were analyzed. The field research consisted of unsystematic observations with notes in the field diary during the 10 visits of the researcher the fair from December 2018 to December 2019 and the follow-up of six ordinary meetings whose period was from November 2018 to November 2019. The treatment of the collected data was carried out through content analysis obtaining as main results that participation is a self- management construct and that there is not only one way to participate.As for the participation analysis category, this was appropriated by FPEPS workers in different ways: politics, in Solidarity Economy formations, in Public Notices to obtain financial resources, in the ordinary meetings of the Fair, both in the sense of not missing without justifying the collective and taking on rotating tasks during the meeting and, finally, participation in events outside the Fair. Regarding the limits of the self- management process, there was a lack of public policies for higher education. As for the contradictions of the self-management process, these revolved around the low participation of FPEPS members in external events and also in its regular meetings, in addition to the commercial interest being the biggest motivator for participation. And the possibilities found in the self-management process were: FPEPS as the subject of its own history; participate in political spaces to debate and help build public policies for higher education; Building responsibility towards the Collective; Self-assessment process on participation in external events. Finally, it was concluded that the self-management process of ordinary FPEPS meetings presented more possibilities than limits and contradictions.
