The main objective of this study was to evaluate the structure of the technological innovation chain by the bias of the incubation system. The specific objectives were: mapping the technological innovation chain in the state of Sergipe through the incubation system; describing the activities and the inter-relationship of the actors involved in the technological innovation chain in the state of Sergipe with incubation point of view and identifying the development stage of the research by the incubation system. The issues of the research were: How is the technological innovation chain structured through the bias of the incubation system in the state of Sergipe? How does the inter-relationship happen among the involved actors in this innovation chain? What is the development level of this research by the incubation system? The theoretical reference addressed the following topics: Entrepreneurship, Entrepreneur, Entrepreneurial Culture, Entrepreneurship in Higher Education Institutions, Indicators of Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Incubation System and Technology Parks. The method used for the research was the inductive. The methodological approach adopted was an applied, qualitative, descriptive and exploratory research in a survey. The survey was conducted through semi-structured interviews and content provided by interviewees and also available on the actors’ sites. The research universe was represented by the sample of fourteen actors located in the state of Sergipe. This represents more than 90% of the involved actors. The selection criteria were: having structured search, related to research and promotion; incubators of technology-based companies belonging to the Incubators Network. In the results, one can assume that the technological innovation chain of the state of Sergipe by the bias of the incubation system is structured, incipient, with effective actions of their actors for strengthening and growth of the CITS. On the other hand, it emphasized that the fruits of development of the research structure in the Higher Education Institutes or research institutes through the incubation system, in other words, the bias of the incubation system, despite the efforts of its actors, practically does not exist.
