Resumo em Inglês: Vestibular Rehabilitation (VR) with Virtual Reality (RVI) is a therapeutic resource that can be applied in patients with Parkinson's disease - DP in order to promote stability and improve the vestibular-visual interaction, increase the static postural stability and dynamics. RVI and improve the balance helps the individual to restore confidence in itself, reduces anxiety and improves social relations. The IVR platforms allow immersion in an illusory and artificial world which promotes an awareness of the environment and leads to reflex changes related to the symptoms presented, these have shown to be effective in patients with neurodegenerative diseases such as PD. Objective: The objective of this study was to verify the effectiveness of VR exercises with RVI, pre- and post-implementation of BSE, DHI, SF36 and chair stand test (TSL) in PD patients to verify the improvement of rehabilitation Vestibular through virtual reality Methods: 16 patients were evaluated (10 males and 6 females), between 15 and 82 years during the period from April to December 2015. patients who did not meet up to the standards for the application the research were excluded. The procedures adopted for the analysis of the survey were: anamnesis, ENT examination, BSE, DHI, SF 36 and TSL. Results: Correlating the results of the analysis it was observed that patients who participated in the survey showed improvement in relation to the independence and performance of functional balance with significant differences in the data. Conclusion: It was found that the RV through RVI game with Nintendo Wii® promoted significant results for the balance from improved FM and consequently for QOL, with an appropriate and cost-effective tool for use in the RV because promotes improvement in postural balance and functional capacity, reducing the risk of falls.

A RVi além de melhorar o equilíbrio ajuda o individuo a restabelecer a confiança em si mesmo, reduz a ansiedade e melhora o convívio social. As plataformas de RVi possibilitam a imersão em um mundo ilusório e artificial o qual promove uma percepção do ambiente e acarreta mudanças reflexas relacionadas aos sintomas apresentados, estas vêm se mostrando eficaz em indivíduos com doenças Neurodegenerativas, como a DP. Objetivo: O objetivo do presente estudo foi verificar a efetividade dos exercícios de RV com RVi, pré e pós-aplicação da EEB, do DHI, SF36 e do Teste de sentar e levantar (TSL) em pacientes com DP para verificar a melhora da reabilitação vestibular através da realidade virtual Metodologia: 16 pacientes foram avaliados (10 do sexo masculino e 6 do feminino), entre 15 e 82 anos, durante o período de abril á dezembro de 2015. Os pacientes que não se encontraram dentro dos padrões para a aplicação da pesquisa foram excluídos. Os procedimentos adotados para análise da pesquisa foram: anamnese, avaliação otorrinolaringológica, EEB, DHI, SF 36 e TSL. Resultados: Correlacionando os resultados das analises foi observado que os pacientes que participaram da pesquisa apresentaram melhora em relação à independência e desempenho do equilíbrio funcional com diferenças significativas nos dados.
