Resumo em Inglês: The field performance of the professional Pedagogue has been outstanding lately, by the expansion of educational spaces out of the regular education. This expansion causes the inclusion of the debate about the social and educational demands and needs that involve the different contexts of action in the formation of Pedagogues. The objective of this study was to analyze the new requirements for Pedagogues in the educational area out of the regular education, focusing the socio educative program of Curitiba city. It approaches the program to discuss the Social Pedagogy front of the social question as conceptualizes Castel. We used the case study, with the instruments to collect data on semi-structured interviews and documentary analysis to collect data that describe the role of the pedagogue, socio-educative responsibilities, the organization of socio-educational programs, the organization structure curriculum of courses in pedagogy and others. The function of the Pedagogue investigated was the function of a Local Coordinator Teacher of the program concerned. It was found that the demands of work involving diversified knowledge in management, that attend the peculiarities of the program, which spreads as main objective to provide space for leisure, training and culture to the community surrounding the schools. Furthermore, we sought to determine the organization of the Faculty of Education on these new demands. It was found that the courses of a particular institution and public are still focused on the mainstream education and need to be more discussion and training strategies, discussions and studies about the formation and work of teachers for educational spaces that go out of the school walls. The disciplines in these colleges still focus on the regular school and there is little or no emphasis in the supervised disciplines that can work in spaces out of the school. The Pedagogue investigated that serves as a Local Coordinator Teacher studies in training courses that are streamlined and often through Television. Contact that the professional requirements for this area should be treated with due importance to this kind of educational program can be more than just an assistance.

Esta ampliação faz com que a formação deste profissional inclua o debate acerca das demandas e necessidades socioeducativas que envolvem os contextos diferenciados de atuação. O objetivo deste trabalho foi analisar as novas exigências profissionais de atuação do Pedagogo no espaço educativo para além do ensino regular, tendo como foco um Programa Socioeducativo da cidade de Curitiba-PR. Abordou-se o Programa discutindo-se a Pedagogia Social frente à questão social tal como a conceitua Castel. Utilizou-se do estudo de caso, tendo como instrumentos de coleta de dados a entrevista semi-estruturada e a análise documental, sendo possível levantar dados que permitiram descrever a atuação do Pedagogo, suas responsabilidades socioedutivas, a organização do Programa Socioeducativo, a organização da estrutura curricular dos cursos de Pedagogia e outros. A função do Pedagogo investigada foi a de Professor Coordenador Local do Programa em questão.Constatou-se que as exigências profissionais envolvem saberes diversificados na área da gestão, que atendem às peculiaridades do Programa, onde dissemina como principal objetivo proporcionar espaço de lazer, formação e cultura para a comunidade do entorno das escolas. Ademais, buscou-se verificar a organização do curso de Pedagogia frente a estas novas demandas. Constatou-se que os cursos de uma Instituição particular e outra pública ainda estão focados no ensino regular, necessitando-se mais reflexão e estratégias de formação, debates e estudos acerca da formação e atuação do Pedagogo para os espaços educativos que perpassam a sala de aula, os muros escolares. As disciplinas nestas faculdades ainda focalizam o ensino regular sendo que há pouca ou nenhuma ênfase nas disciplinas de estágio supervisionado em espaço não-escolar. A Pedagoga investigada para atuar como Professora Coordenadora Local conta com cursos de capacitação aligeirados e muitas vezes através de Teleaulas.
