The theme of this paper is the study of the erotic tales from the XXI century according to the bakhtinian dialogism. To Bakhtin, the dialogism is the fundament of all discursivity. From this concept, the tales were read and understood, in the literary studies as an intercrossing of voices which dialogue with other texts, and also are echoes of voices of its time, which highlights the values and beliefs of a specific social formation. The general objective, there was the interest in understanding how the dialogical relations in discursive materialities considered erotic happen, from the perspectives of Bakhtin’s reflections. As the specific objective, it was verified which axiology held the corpus; as well as the way the voiceswhich intercross in the tales help to elucidate some characteristics of the identities of the man and the woman from the XXI century. Besides this, a study related to the erotic concept was made; in order to collaborate to the distinction of what is a literary study considered erotic, as the erotic concept in misunderstood in the popular minds. The analysis had as a theoretical basis Bakhtin’s concepts of dialogism (1987; 1997; 1998; 2006) and the studies of his papers researchers, such as Brait (2006a; 2006b), Faraco (2007; 2009), Fiorin (2006a; 2006b), and Morson and Emerson (2008). Related to the erotism, as for the historical revision, Alexandrian (1994) e Hunt (1999a)’s studies were used. To the erotic conception conceituation, Almeida (1980). To have the distinction between erotic and pornography, the basis will be Bataille (1980), Castello Branco (1984), Durigan (1985), Moraes e Lapeiz (1985), Moraes (1997; 2000; 2003; 2005; 2008; 2013) and Paz (1993). The methodology of the study was done by the bibliographic checking of Bakhtin’s dialogism and literature studies, and in reading based on this phylosopher’s vision about the dialogical relations. After that, erotic tales were selected in the Brazilian literature of the XXI century. To the corpus, six erotic tales were chosen: “No meio da palha” (DE PAULA, 2006); “Entrego-me a ti” (BRANDÃO, 2006); “Confissões da sedutora” (GRAMMONT, 2006); “Palavras em busca de núpcias” (ASSUNÇÃO, 2006); “O que passa antes na cabeça: homem e mulher” (CLAVER, 2006b); and “Cinco sentidos” (LOBATO, 2006). The tales are part of the 69/2 selection, organized by Ronald Claver (2006a). After the reading of the tales, from the bakhtinian dialogism perspective, it was observed, as a result, that the erotic tale, just as any literary qualified text, is dialogically constituted by some mechanisms, as the stylization, the parody and the soliloquy, and by its intertextual and interdiscursive characteristics. What makes the difference among the tales is the group of values in each work and the different ways how the dialogical relations are stabilished in them. What this research has proved, in a further vision, is that the high quality erotic literature has a significative potential to report the natural human behavior in the happening of being.
