Resumo: | This study shows the curriculum adopted for the elementary school, worring mainly with the study areas that integrate the curriculum of the last grades. Its objective is clearing the necessity of revision of the study areas concept as showed before by the made analysis in this study, its concept is unclear. This study tried to show the mistakes of the adopted curriculum and it was made from analysis of the curriculum elaboration procedures found in the literature considered. The conclusion is that the curriculum mistakes made by the unclear conception resulting in a bad organization of the curriculum, there are two conceptions to the organization the curriculum, one refers to the subject organization and the other to the learning experiences, but the use of them joined is incoherent. It has negatives implications for the study areas conception and to obtain the educational goals. The author sugest a realization of an investigation on the working teachers, to search for the way that its been interpreted the study areas conception. |

Tem por objetivo esclarecer a necessidade de revisão do conceito de áreas de estudo, visto que pela análise efetuada o mesmo parece ter sido usado inadequadamente. Procurou-se, a partir da análise das técnicas de elaboração de currículos abordadas na literatura consultada, evidenciar a falha do modelo de currículo para o ensino de 1º Grau. Concluiu-se que, em decorrência da inadequação do conceito, o currículo apresenta falhas em sua composição, visto que há justaposição dos enfoques empregados para justificar a organização das matérias no currículo e a organização das experiências de aprendizagem. O problema da conceituação imprecisa pode ter implicações negativas para a organização do ensino das áreas de estudo e comprometer os objetivos educacionais. A autora propõe a realização de uma pesquisa junto aos professores em serviço para investigação de como está sendo interpretado o conceito de áreas de estudo.porTodo cuidado foi dispensado para respeitar os direitos autorais deste trabalho.
