Resumo: This study shows the historiography of the landscape of Serranópolis that covers four moments: pre-colonial, indigenous Kayapó, coffee and current, aiming to understand how the appropriation and construction of landscapes took place. This region is home to one of the most important heritage legacies in human history in the Brazilian Central Plateau. The time interval is approximately 11,000 years AP today. The approach adopted relates to New History and Archeology. The methodological procedures are based mainly on bibliographic and field research, through which it was possible to contact and characterize traces or evidences of the established periods. The results obtained show this characterization, highlighting gaps, correlations and limitations, based on data and information made available. Temporal linearity deals with interpretative possibilities of human occupation, opening horizons for future research on appropriation and construction of the landscape in the perspective of deep time. In this way, landscapes and memories are brought, whose culture is inscribed in theoretical contributions that support the cataloging of archaeological sites

Essa região abriga um dos mais importantes legados patrimoniais da história humana no Planalto Central brasileiro. O intervalo temporal tem aproximadamente 11.000 anos AP a atualidade. A abordagem adotada se relaciona com a Nova História e a Arqueologia. Os procedimentos metodológicos estão fundamentados principalmente na pesquisa bibliográfica e de campo, pelas quais foram possíveis contatar e caracterizar vestígios ou evidências dos períodos estabelecidos. Os resultados obtidos apresentam essa caracterização, destacando lacunas, correlações e limitações, a partir de dados e informações disponibilizados. A linearidade temporal trata de possibilidades interpretativas de ocupação humana, abrindo horizontes para futuras pesquisas sobre apropriação e construção da paisagem na perspectiva do tempo profundo.
