The present work had an exploratory character and, looked for to investigate the expression of the subjectivities of obese people that made use of stomach reduction surgery. Four clinical type interviews were realized with woman of different ages that appealed to the stomach reduction surgery. The occasion of a body worry carries on as an inductor stimulus of a narrative by the subject of his suffering. It concerns the restitution by the interviewer of the reality of research , which the register of interviews stays conditioned to the own disposing and, rigorously talking, the analysis is from the research situation while research strategy. It means that the interpretation of the relate of the interview in clinic, only can be validated in a inter subjective context (Stein, 1988). In this way, through the realized interviews, can say that the surgery shows itself as a trial of changing his own identity. Although, we must have a caution of saying that it concerns much more of an open via, to the subject, of change in his life, that can or cannot concretize. It doesn t mean recover the health, a situation of prior things, as in the case of the illness, but to provoke a true incision in his anterior history.
