This research aims to investigate the process of subjective mobilization of federal public servants of an institution of the Federal Executive Branch, based on the practice of the psychodynamic work clinic. The institution studied belongs to the agribusiness segment. It aggregates activities related to agriculture and livestock, processes of transformation of agroindustry and operations of storage, transportation and distribution. In this study, the theoretical reference used is the work psychodynamics, advocated by Dejours (1992), with the practice of the psychodynamic work clinic that is focused on the analysis of the subjective aspects of work from a space of discussion. The work clinic consisted of eight recorded sessions, with an average duration of 1h and 15 minutes per meeting. Eleven federal public servants of the research institution participated voluntarily. The content analysis was used to organize and analyze the results, establishing the following categories: work organization; suffering at work and subjective mobilization. The results indicate that the federal public servants' work organization is presented in a hierarchical, bureaucratic format with centralized and vertical institutional relations. The experiences of suffering in the work are related to the very formation of the work organization of the researched institution. Defensive strategies are presented through rationalization, given the impotence identified in relation to internal changes and those related to a larger context that is the federal government. Regarding the subjective mobilization, it is perceived the opportunity to bring the discussion to the improvement of the work and the professional category by these workers when they signal points of criticism to the work organization, such as excessive bureaucracy, interposition of tasks, lack of dialogue, and rigid controls. Finally, the study presents the development of a psychodynamic work clinic in a specific public institution to experience working relationships with federal public servants, in order to know their subjective mobilization. In addition, the results of this study contribute to the advancement of the investigations regarding the subjective mobilization of federal public servants, in the organization of the work of a federal public institution of the Executive Power in signaling the application among these workers of the elements necessary for mobilization as the use of practical intelligence and cooperation.
