Resumo: The work interests several areas of knowledg, such is the importance and representativeness that it plays in the lives of workers. Understanding that this has been transformed by several factors, that among them technological advances assume great relevance and seeking to know this movement, this study aims to investigate the transformations in the performance of organizational and work psychologists, identifying the conception of psychologists about the main changes in the profiles designed for the function, covering changes in the processes (recruitment, selection, training and development) in the face of technological advances. This is a qualitative study, developed from the perspective of Organizational and Work Psychology (POT), as an area of activity and knowledge, from the classics and recent studies (from 2010), and is focused on the conception of psychologists in activity in the area, referring to the transformations that permeate their practice. Participants were six psychologists, recruited in a non-random way, for convenience, following the snowball model, from an online, semi-structured interview, with data analysis made according to Bardin (2008) based on two categories: Changes in the expected profile of organizational and work psychologists and changes in R&S and T&D processes. The results revealed that the participants perceive the change in the profile expected of psychologists working in organizations, with the need to incorporate new skills and knowledge to follow technological evolution and make use of the tools, which serve both as allies, facilitators and time optimizers, as instruments to control results, standardizing and restricting the psychologist´s praxis in the organizational context.

Entende-se que este vem sendo transformado por vários fatores, que dentre eles os avanços tecnológicos assumem grande relevância e buscando conhecer este movimento, o presente estudo objetiva averiguar as transformações na atuação dos psicólogos organizacionais e do trabalho, identificando a concepção de psicólogos sobre as principais alterações dos perfis desenhados para a função, abrangendo as modificações nos processos (de recrutamento, seleção, treinamento e desenvolvimento) frente aos avanços tecnológicos. Trata-se de um estudo qualitativo, desenvolvido a partir da perspectiva da Psicologia Organizacional e do Trabalho (POT), como área de atuação e conhecimento, a partir dos clássicos e estudos recentes (a partir do ano de 2010), estando voltado para a concepção dos psicólogos em atividade na área, referente às transformações que perpassam sua prática. Participaram 6 psicólogos, recrutados de maneira não aleatória, por conveniência, seguindo o modelo bola de neve, a partir de entrevista online, semiestruturada, com a análise de dados feita segundo Bardin (2008) a partir das categorias: As alterações no perfil esperado dos psicólogos organizacionais e do trabalho e as modificações nos processos de R&S e T&D.
