Resumo: In recent years, the deaf community has shown its importance in society and achieved its space. One of these spaces is in higher education. Considering this and the pandemic context experienced since March 2021, because of the covid-19, this work has a general objective to investigate how the Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) can favor the inclusion and enhance the teaching-learning process of deaf students. Thus, it was intended to: verify with the research subjects which technological tools are used that favor the teaching-learning process; find out what are the main difficulties of deaf college students and how to overcome them; identify what are the solutions to overcome learning difficulties; verify the types of accessibility recommended in institutional documents and if they are applied. We have seen recently that not everyone is adapted to the use of technologies, and many still do not even have access to them. Thinking about this, it is inevitable not to reflect on how students who have some kind of disability are adapting. In the specific case of this research, the deaf students. The methodological approach applied was qualitative, field and exploratory research. Thus, semi-structured interviews, content analysis and bibliographic research were conducted. Data analysis was guided by the assumptions of Bardin (2011). The theoretical discussion was based on legal norms and the following authors: Valentini and Bisol (2012); Mill (2018); Skliar (2016); Strobel (2013). The research was conducted in a private Higher Education Institution and two students, a teacher and an interpreter of Brazilian Sign Language were interviewed. It was possible to observe that the main difficulty of the students is in written communication. In addition, it became evident that WhatsApp is the communication tool most used for educational purposes by the subjects involved in the research. It was expected that this research will not exhaust the reflections on the theme, but encourage new perspectives that contribute to the notability of the subject.

Um desses espaços está na educação superior. Considerando isso e o contexto pandêmico vivido desde março de 2021, em decorrência da covid-19, este trabalho tem como objetivo geral investigar como as Tecnologias da Informação e Comunicação (TICs) poderão favorecer a inclusão e potencializar o processo de ensino-aprendizagem de estudantes surdos. Assim, pretendeu-se: verificar com os sujeitos da pesquisa quais ferramentas tecnológicas são utilizadas que favorecem o processo de ensino-aprendizagem; averiguar quais as principais dificuldades dos estudantes universitários surdos e como as superam; identificar quais as soluções para superar as dificuldades de aprendizagem; verificar as modalidades de acessibilidade recomendadas nos documentos institucionais e se são aplicadas. Vimos nos últimos anos que nem todos estão adaptados ao uso das tecnologias e muitos ainda nem acesso a elas têm. Pensando nesse cenário, é inevitável não refletir de que forma os estudantes que possuem algum tipo de deficiência estão se adaptando. No caso específico desta pesquisa, os estudantes surdos. O percurso metodológico aplicado foi de uma pesquisa qualitativa, de campo e exploratória. Dessa forma, foram realizadas entrevistas semiestruturadas, análise de conteúdo e pesquisa bibliográfica. A análise dos dados orientou-se pelos pressupostos de Bardin (2011). A discussão teórica foi fundamentada em normativos legais e nos seguintes autores: Valentini e Bisol (2012), Mill (2018), Skliar (2016) e Strobel (2013). A pesquisa foi realizada em uma Instituição de Ensino Superior (IES) particular e foram entrevistados dois estudantes, uma professora e um intérprete de Língua Brasileira de Sinais (Libras). Foi possível observar que a principal dificuldade dos estudantes é na comunicação escrita, interpretar o enunciado de exercícios. Além disso, evidenciou-se que o WhatsApp é a ferramenta de comunicação mais utilizada para fins educacionais pelos sujeitos envolvidos na pesquisa.
