Resumo: | Understanding the need for a Chemistry Teaching that gives space and voice for students to actively participate and can see the different ways of understanding the world, being, finally, literate scientifically, this work sought, in the dialogues between the different ways of understanding the world, possibilities for teaching and learning. In general terms, it aimed to analyze the knowledge and popular practices of banana culture, based on a research based on Ethnochemistry, possible contributions to the teaching and learning of Chemistry. The research is based on educational contributions from theorists such as Ubiratan D'Ambrósio and his theorization of Ethnomathematics, Zulmira L. Francisco and his notes on Ethnochemistry, Attico Chassot with his foundations for the insertion of popular knowledge in Chemistry Teaching and Paulo Freire, bringing the importance of including generating themes, dialogue and problematization. The research, therefore, was a qualitative study having as a participating subject a market stallholder who is also a farmer, and with some ethnographic research tools - observation, field diary and semi-structured interview - the data were collected. The analysis consisted of transcribing the testimonies, dialoguing with scientific knowledge and later with school knowledge, discussing possibilities of sub-themes and contents from the generating theme “The banana culture”. We found that the participant has extensive knowledge about the processes related to banana culture. Based on the discussion and understanding of this knowledge, a didactic sequence was developed to address the subtheme “food losses and waste (fruit conservation and ripening)”, which was organized into three pedagogical moments. In the first moment, questions are suggested for the problematization of previous knowledge about the processes of conservation and maturation. The second moment consists of deepening knowledge and suggesting some content that can be addressed, as well as practical activities related to the theme. In the last one, aimed at the socialization of knowledge, some activities are suggested. One of these is the making of paper from the pseudostem of the banana tree, which was possible to be applied with two students with the support of a geography teacher who, after an opinion poll, we verified that this activity can collaborate to expand the knowledge, in addition to the possibility of interdisciplinary learning. The proposed didactic sequence was not applied in the classroom, however we believe that it can significantly contribute to the teaching and learning of Chemistry. Finally, all the discussion generated in this work enabled the elaboration of an educational product. |

Em linhas gerais, teve como propósito analisar nos saberes e práticas populares da cultura da banana, a partir de uma pesquisa com fundamentos da Etnoquímica, possíveis contribuições para o ensino-aprendizagem de Química. A pesquisa funda-se nas contribuições educacionais advindas de teóricos como Ubiratan D’Ambrósio e sua teorização da Etnomatemática, Zulmira L. Francisco e seus apontamentos para a Etnoquímica, Attico Chassot com seus fundamentos para a inserção dos saberes populares no Ensino de Química e Paulo Freire, trazendo a importância da inclusão de temas geradores, do diálogo e da problematização. A pesquisa, portanto, tratou-se de um estudo qualitativo tendo como sujeito participante da pesquisa um feirante que também é agricultor, e com algumas ferramentas da pesquisa etnográfica - observação, diário de campo e entrevista semiestruturada - coletou-se os dados. A análise consistiu na transcrição dos depoimentos fazendo o diálogo com os saberes científicos e posteriormente com os saberes escolares, discutindo possibilidades de subtemas e conteúdos a partir do tema gerador “A cultura da banana”. Constatamos que o participante detém um amplo conhecimento sobres os processos relacionados a cultura da banana. A partir da discussão e compreensão desses saberes foi elaborado uma sequência didática para abordar o subtema “perdas e desperdícios de alimentos (conservação e amadurecimento de frutas)” que foi organizada em três momentos pedagógicos. No primeiro momento são sugeridas questões para a problematização dos conhecimentos prévios sobre os processos de conservação e amadurecimento. O segundo momento consiste no aprofundamento dos conhecimentos e são sugeridos alguns conteúdos que podem ser abordados, bem como atividades práticas relacionadas com a temática. Já no último, destinado a socialização dos conhecimentos, são sugeridas algumas atividades. Uma dessas é a confecção de papel a partir do pseudocaule da bananeira que foi possível ser aplicada com dois alunos contando com o apoio de uma professora de geografia que, após uma sondagem de opinião, verificamos que essa atividade pode colaborar para ampliar os conhecimentos abordados, além da possibilidade de uma aprendizagem interdisciplinar. A sequência didática proposta não foi aplicada em sala de aula, no entanto acreditamos que esta pode contribuir significativamente para o ensino-aprendizagem de Química. Por fim, toda discussão gerada neste trabalho possibilitou a elaboração de um produto educacional.application/pdfUniversidade Estadual da ParaíbaPrograma de Pós-Graduação em Ensino de Ciências e Educação Matemática - PPGECEMUEPBBRPró-Reitoria de Pós-Graduação e Pesquisa - PRPGPPró-Reitoria de Pós-Graduação e Pesquisa - PRPGPEDUCACAOCIENCIAS EXATAS E DA TERRAEnsino de QuímicaSaber popularEtnoquímicaCultura da bananaA cultura da banana como tema gerador para o ensino de Química: diálogo entre saberes populares, científicos e escolaresThe criminalization of solidarity as an obstacle to the promotion of human rights in Italyinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisAlmeida, José Joelson Pimentel dehttp://lattes.cnpq.br/8166150091846962Lima Junior, Claudio Gabrielhttp://lattes.cnpq.br/5743384737397873Dantas Filho, Francisco Ferreirahttp://lattes.cnpq.br/9209322069666549http://lattes.cnpq.br/5235099962002534Carvalho, Leonardo Lucioinfo:eu-repo/semantics/embargoedAccessporreponame:Repositório Institucional da Universidade Estadual da Paraíba (UEPB)instname:Universidade Estadual da Paraíba (UEPB)instacron:UEPBTHUMBNAILTermo de depósito BDTD.pdf.jpgTermo de depósito BDTD.pdf.jpgGenerated Thumbnailimage/jpeg4067https://repositorio.uepb.edu.br/bitstreams/e1bb5b60-1d5a-4c47-b21f-a3b45dfcbf71/downloade336097b998f3e03b4bd0f6f79916367MD58falseAdministratorREAD2999-12-31PE - Leonardo Lucio Carvalho.pdf.jpgPE - Leonardo Lucio Carvalho.pdf.jpgGenerated Thumbnailimage/jpeg6753https://repositorio.uepb.edu.br/bitstreams/26469480-18c9-4cdd-a624-fbc645ed1548/download7ad0c272ced8658c0114df1641eb69dcMD59falseAnonymousREADDS - Leonardo Lucio Carvalho.pdf.jpgDS - Leonardo Lucio Carvalho.pdf.jpgGenerated Thumbnailimage/jpeg2958https://repositorio.uepb.edu.br/bitstreams/d3bd5e39-fa9e-4448-8c34-969fe3c11d07/download591a799d2adc2daf85a17ef03e330a91MD510falseAnonymousREADLICENSElicense.txtlicense.txttext/plain;
