The traditional writing classes have undergone several changes, due to the theoretical evolutions about the own conception of language, text and writing adopted until arriving at what we now call textual production worked from the textual genres and considering writing as a process. In this research, we aim to develop students' reading and writing skills so that they are able to read, understand and write with autonomy. Therefore, we propose to analyze and reflect on the production and textual rewriting of the students of a 6th grade elementary school class of a municipal public school in the city of Campina Grande-PB, through the application of a didactic sequence elaborated from the narrative adventure genre. To do so, we will take as theoretical basis the studies of Bakhtin (2016) on the discursive genres, Koch and Elias (2015) regarding the strategies involved in textual production, Marcuschi (2008) regarding the sociointeractionist principles of text production , the PCN (2001) and its orientations on the teaching of Portuguese Language. We will also bring up the discussions about how to correct text in the school presented by Ruiz (2001) and the reflections of Menegolo and Menegolo (2005) on the importance of the work with the rewriting of texts. In view of the above, we intend to live with the students an effective writing practice, taking into account the production of texts for the development of the student's social participation, leading him to reflect on this writing process inside and outside the school context.
