The National School Feeding Program - PNAE is a federal government program managed by the National Education Development Fund - FNDE, which aims to transfer financial resources, on a supplementary basis, to the Executing Entities - EE: States, Federal District and Municipalities, seeking to partially meet the nutritional needs of the network of schools in the national public education system. Today it is considered one of the largest programs in the area of school feeding, with universal attendance. The Dissertation entitled "The National School Feeding Program: Processes, Procedures and Dilemmas in the Municipality of Campina Grande – PB (2018)" proposes to analyze the execution of the PNAE in the aforementioned municipality and its contribution to local socio-economic development, going through the dilemmas and difficulties faced by the Program in the year of the research. To this end, the legal provisions and normative instruments will be mapped, through which the processes of gender acquisition for school feeding are carried out, describing the processes and procedures of food purchase, and identifying the social actors involved in the process. Considering the advances of the PNAE over the years, the application of resources and their importance, as well as the mandatory insertion of products from family agriculture, the investigative problem is the following: the National School Feeding Program can be constituted as a possible socioeconomic inductor for the formation of a market for family agriculture and local commerce, based on the assumption that the PNAE is a reference of public development policy. From the methodological point of view, this is a documentary research of qualitative character, as well as exploratory and descriptive, because it was intended here to describe the facts and phenomena of a certain reality, from specific and specialized literature on the subject, in addition to a secondary database and reports of Public Call and Face-to-Face Trading provided by the Municipal Secretariat of Education of Campina Grande. However, the results of the research present a mapping and identification of the suppliers involved in the process, as well as the purchased foodstuffs. It is noteworthy that the data were limited, since the research was early interrupted by the Federal Police, when the "Operation Hungry" was triggered in the municipality, where the possible action of a criminal organization involving the PNAE in Campina Grande and the State of Paraíba is investigated, starting in 2013.
