Resumo: Sesame (Sesamum indincum L.) is an oleaginous plant cultivated in more than 70 countries, in Brazil, its exploitation has been growing in recent years. It is a crop with wide adaptability to edaphoclimatic conditions of hot weather, however, it can suffer from effects caused by water scarcity. Water deficit can affect plant metabolism, causing, among other factors, inhibition of photosynthesis and a decrease in nutrient absorption, disfavoring plant growth and development. Thus, the use of inoculants based on plant growth-promoting bacteria can be a good management strategy. In this context, this work aims to evaluate the performance of the sesame cultivar BRS Pérola Negra, inoculated with bacilli and subjected to water restriction. The experiment was carried out in the field, experimental design in randomized blocks, being 3 (inoculants) x 2 (chemical nitrogen levels) x 2 (water regime), with 3 replications, totaling 36 treatments. After 35 days of emergence, irrigation was suspended for six days and, on the sixth day, leaves were collected for biochemical analysis. At the end of the crop cycle, the following variables were collected: insertion height of the first fruit; plant height; root length; dry root mass; dry shoot mass; capsule number; counting the number of open capsules; capsule length and diameter; weight of 1000 seeds; total seed weight; nitrogen and phosphorus content. The collected data were submitted to analysis of variance (p≤0.05) and the means compared by the F test (p≤0.05) using the statistical program SISVAR version 5.6. GraphPad version 9.5 was used to generate graphs and Genes for correlation analysis between agronomic and biochemical traits. According to the results, it was possible to observe a positive effect of inoculation in all agronomic variables, mainly in plants under conditions of water restriction. The final grain production had an increase of 15.45% in the treatment inoculated with ESA 402 under water stress, and 151.43% in the treatment inoculated with pant001 in the irrigated condition, in comparison with the treatment without nitrogen. The biochemical analyzes showed that there was an increase in the enzymatic activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD), ascorbate peroxidase (APX) and concentration of photosynthetic pigments in the inoculated treatments. The results obtained for nitrogen and phosphorus in leaves were positive, since their levels increased in the stress condition, in the treatments with nitrogen and inoculated. As for the correlations, the characters that correlated significantly, with high and positive associations, were the number of capsules X number of open capsules (rfe 0.94) and chlorophyll to X total chlorophyll (a+b) (rfe 0.94) and negative between the characters length of capsules X number of capsules (rfe 0.79). Based on these data, it was found that the inoculants for the BRS Pérola Negra sesame plants contributed to their better growth and development even under conditions of water restriction.

É uma cultura com ampla adaptabilidade às condições edafoclimáticas de clima quente, no entanto, pode sofrer com efeitos causados pela escassez de água. O déficit hídrico pode afetar o metabolismo das plantas provocando, dentre outros fatores, inibição de fotossíntese e diminuição na absorção de nutrientes, desfavorecendo o crescimento e desenvolvimento das plantas. Assim, a utilização de inoculantes à base de bactérias promotoras de crescimento de plantas pode ser uma boa estratégia de manejo. Neste contexto, este trabalho tem como objetivo avaliar o desempenho da cultivar de gergelim BRS Pérola Negra, inoculada com bacilos e submetida à restrição hídrica. O experimento foi conduzido em campo, delineamento experimental em blocos casualizados, sendo 3 (inoculantes) x 2 (níveis de nitrogênio químico) x 2 (regime hídrico), com 3 repetições, totalizando 36 tratamentos. Após 35 dias da emergência a irrigação foi suspensa por seis dias e, no sexto dia, foram coletadas folhas para análises bioquímicas. Ao final do ciclo da cultura foram coletadas as seguintes variáveis: altura de inserção do primeiro fruto; altura de planta; comprimento de raiz; massa da raiz seca; massa da parte aérea seca; número de cápsula; contagem do número de cápsulas abertas; comprimento e diâmetro de cápsula; peso de 1000 sementes; peso total de sementes; teor de nitrogênio e fósforo. Os dados coletados foram submetidos à análise de variância (p≤0,05) e as médias comparadas pelo teste F (p≤0,05) utilizando o programa estatístico SISVAR versão 5.6. O GraphPad versão 9.5, foi utilizado para gerar os gráficos e o Genes para análises de correlação entre caracteres agronômicos e bioquímicos. De acordo com os resultados, houve efeito positivo da inoculação em todas as variáveis agronômicas, principalmente nas plantas sob condição de restrição hídrica. A produção final de grãos teve um incremento de 15,45% no tratamento inoculado com ESA 402 sob estresse hídrico e, 151,43% no tratamento inoculado com pant001 na condição irrigada, em comparação com o tratamento sem nitrogênio. As análises bioquímicas mostraram que houve um aumento nas atividades enzimáticas de superóxido dismutasse (SOD), ascorbato peroxidase (APX) e concentração de pigmentos fotossintetizantes nos tratamentos inoculados. Os resultados obtidos de nitrogênio e fósforo em folhas foram positivos, visto que aumentaram seus teores na condição de estresse, nos tratamentos com nitrogênio e inoculados. Quanto as correlações, os caracteres que se correlacionaram significativamente, com associações altas e positivas, foram o número de cápsulas X número de cápsulas abertas (rfe 0,94) e clorofila a X clorofila total (a+b) (rfe 0,94) e negativa entre os caracteres comprimento de cápsulas X número de cápsulas (rfe 0,79). Com base nesses dados constatou-se que os inoculantes contribuíram para o crescimento e o desenvolvimento das plantas de gergelim da cultivar BRS Pérola Negra em condições de restrição hídrica.Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPESapplication/pdfUniversidade Estadual da ParaíbaPrograma de Pós-Graduação em Ciências Agrárias - PPGCAUEPBBRPró-Reitoria de Pós-Graduação e Pesquisa - PRPGPCIENCIAS AGRARIASBacillus spSesamum indicum LDéficit hídricoDesempenho agronômico da cultivar de gergelim BRS Pérola Negra inoculada com bacilos e submetida à restrição hídricainfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisLima, Liziane Maria dehttp://lattes.cnpq.br/7350753350522784Arriel, Nair Helena Castrohttp://lattes.cnpq.br/6436236152448398http://lattes.cnpq.br/3450366978849747Nascimento, Camila Lima doinfo:eu-repo/semantics/embargoedAccessporreponame:Repositório Institucional da Universidade Estadual da Paraíba (UEPB)instname:Universidade Estadual da Paraíba (UEPB)instacron:UEPBTHUMBNAILDS - Camila Lima do Nascimento.pdf.jpgDS - Camila Lima do Nascimento.pdf.jpgGenerated Thumbnailimage/jpeg3474https://repositorio.uepb.edu.br/bitstreams/003c9ff4-ebb4-44e7-b280-66d53847f812/download6451ebfeaaa57b73d82972517c85ec39MD56falseAnonymousREADTermo de depósito BDTD.pdf.jpgTermo de depósito BDTD.pdf.jpgGenerated Thumbnailimage/jpeg4767https://repositorio.uepb.edu.br/bitstreams/2fad5d2c-8dd1-43bd-97eb-490defb3d42c/download1c7731036f965e010b796f534749f6bcMD57falseAnonymousREAD2999-12-31LICENSElicense.txtlicense.txttext/plain;
