Resumo: One of the greatest difficulties of learning in genetics is related to the interaction contents and gene connection, mainly due to the high degree of abstraction of these contents. The use of pedagogical games can be a tool of pedagogical resource that helps the teacher in learning with genetic contents. The pedagogical game, throughout history, is portrayed as an intrinsic factor of human culture. The objective of this research was the use of two pedagogical games aimed at teaching and learning the contents of interaction and gene link in the third grade of high school, in a public school in the Municipality of Patos-PB. This is an action research, using a semi-structured questionnaire, with psychometric scale of the Likert type and validated, as to its reliability, by the Cronbach's alpha test. The results showed greater significance and considerable improvement in teaching and conceptual learning of interaction and genetic link contents, since Cronbach's alpha coefficient for the use of pedagogical games was 0.786, as opposed to the coefficient of 0.690 for theoretical expository classes. Therefore, pedagogical games, when well planned, constitute an excellent educational tool complementary to the didactics of the teacher in the classroom.

O uso de jogos pedagógicos pode ser uma ferramenta de recurso pedagógico que auxilia o professor na aprendizagem com conteúdos de genética. O jogo pedagógico, ao longo da história, é retratado como fator intrínseco da cultura humana. O objetivo desta pesquisa foi o uso de dois jogos pedagógicos visando o ensino e a aprendizagem dos conteúdos de interação e ligação gênica na terceira série do ensino médio, em uma escola pública no Município de Patos-PB. Essa é uma pesquisa-ação, com uso de questionário semiestruturado, com escala psicométrica do tipo Likert e validada, quanto a sua fiabilidade, pelo teste alfa de Cronbach. Os resultados demonstraram maior significância e considerável melhoria do ensino e aprendizagem conceitual dos conteúdos interação e ligação gênica, pois o coeficiente alfa de Cronbach para o uso dos jogos pedagógicos foram de 0,786, em contraposição ao coeficiente de 0,690 para as aulas teóricas expositivas.
