Resumo: | This research had the objective of analyzing the configuration of the sexual division of labor in the home / manufacturing mix of the city of Santa Cruz do Capibaribe / PE. I used methodology with quantitative-qualitative approach and its objectives are defined as descriptive and analytical. I used the techniques of participant observation of the work, semi-structured interviews, field diary and questionnaire to collect socioeconomic data and about the production process. The study adopts as the main concept the sexual division of labor that seeks to show the naturalization and hierarchy of roles as socially constructed and changeable elements, as well as evidence the configuration of the power relations of men and women in the universe of work in the house mix / Manufacture. The results showed with regard to the age of the couples it was noticed that the ages of the women vary, being one of 29, two of 34 and one of 44 years, already in relation to the men were verified that they are in the age group of 32 to 37. The data show that women interviewed have almost the same level of education as men. However, the highest and lowest levels of schooling were found among men. Regarding the remuneration, a difference can be observed between the respondents 'and respondents' answers, some of them do not know how much they receive or how much they contribute to the household expenses, leaving between the lines that their income, what they spend with themselves and the Expenses for the maintenance of the family are limited to one thing only. The spatial configurations that house the mix house / manufacture diminish the privacy character of the families. The place to live was also the place to work because of the economic and social circumstances that settled in the region. For males and females this transformation brought diverse consequences. In the home / manufacturing mix the non-hierarchy of tasks and work activities may be due to the type of organization of family and home-based microenterprises, which does not mean that women and men have equal conditions. The workforce used in the production process of the home / manufacturing mix involves the couple as well as their children and other employees. Of these, some are relatives in first and second degree, thus reinforcing the character of family-based economic production. It was possible to notice that 60% of the contracted workers are women, which confirms the predominance of the female labor force in the clothing sector. It is clear that the mix house / manufacturing invades the time and space of the workers, especially of the members of the family, every moment is time to work. It is hoped that the results of the research may be appropriated by other researchers and researchers as well as by the women of the South in their struggle to overcome inequality. |

Utilizei de metodologia com abordagem quanti-qualitativa e quanto aos seus objetivos se define como descritiva e analítica. Usei as técnicas de observação participante do trabalho, entrevistas semiestruturada, diário de campo e questionário para levantar dados socioeconômicos e sobre o processo de produção. O estudo adota como principal conceito a divisão sexual do trabalho que busca mostrar a naturalização e hierarquização de papéis como elementos construídos socialmente e passíveis de mudança, além de evidenciar a configuração das relações de poder dos homens e das mulheres no universo do trabalho no mix casa/fabrico. Os resultados mostraram no que se refere à idade dos casais percebeu-se que as idades das mulheres variam, sendo uma de 29, duas de 34 e uma de 44 anos, já em relação aos homens se verificou que estão na faixa etária de 32 a 37. Os dados mostram que as mulheres entrevistadas possuem quase que a mesma escolaridade que os homens. Entretanto, a mais alta e a mais baixa escolaridade foi encontrada entre os homens. Em relação à remuneração percebe-se uma diferenciação entre as respostas dos e das entrevistadas, algumas delas colocam não saber o quanto recebem e nem com quanto contribuem para as despesas da casa, deixando nas entrelinhas que sua renda, o que gastam consigo mesmas e as despesas com a manutenção da família se resumem a uma coisa só. As configurações espaciais que abrigam o mix casa/fabrico diminuem o caráter de privacidade das famílias. O lugar de se morar tornou-se também o lugar de se trabalhar por força das circunstâncias econômicas e sociais que se instalou na região. Para homens e mulheres esta transformação trouxe consequências diversas. No mix casa/fabrico a não hierarquização das tarefas e atividades de trabalho pode se dever ao tipo de organização de micro empresa familiar e em domicílio, o que não quer dizer que mulheres e homens tenham condições iguais. A força de trabalho utilizada no processo de produção do mix casa/fabrico envolve além do casal, filhos/as e mais outros empregados/as. Destes, alguns são parentes em primeiro e segundo grau, reforçando assim o caráter de produção econômica de base familiar. Foi possível notar que 60% dos/as trabalhadores/as contratados/as são mulheres, o que confirma o predomínio da força de trabalho feminina no setor confecção. Fica nítido que o mix casa/fabrico invade o tempo e o espaço dos/as trabalhadores/as, principalmente dos membros da família, todo momento é hora de trabalhar. Espera-se que os resultados da pesquisa possam ser apropriados por outros pesquisadores e pesquisadoras como também pelas mulheres sulanqueiras na sua luta pela superação da desigualdade.Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPESapplication/pdfUniversidade Estadual da ParaíbaPrograma de Pós-Graduação em Serviço Social - PPGSSUEPBBRCentro de Ciências Sociais e Aplicadas - CCSAPró-Reitoria de Pós-Graduação e Pesquisa - PRPGPSexual division of laborGender relationshipFemale workWork relationshipGender inequalitySERVICO SOCIAL APLICADODivisão sexual do trabalhoRelação de gêneroTrabalho femininoDesigualdade de gêneroA divisão sexual do trabalho na produção da sulanca em Santa Cruz do Capibaripe - PEinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/doctoralThesisRocha, Euda Kaliani Gomes Texeirahttp://lattes.cnpq.br/7289352956682903Silva, Edil Ferreira dahttp://lattes.cnpq.br/4320349542612074Santiago, Idalina Maria Freitas Limahttp://lattes.cnpq.br/9993459692120000Silva, Edil Ferreira dahttp://lattes.cnpq.br/4320349542612074http://lattes.cnpq.br/7720960346220349Melo, Maria Tereza de Avilainfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessporreponame:Repositório Institucional da Universidade Estadual da Paraíba (UEPB)instname:Universidade Estadual da Paraíba (UEPB)instacron:UEPBORIGINALDISS - Maria Tereza de Avila Melo.pdfDISS - Maria Tereza de Avila Melo.pdfapplication/pdf29844596https://repositorio.uepb.edu.br/bitstreams/1100deb9-be7e-4a0a-a41b-4ac8c877b642/download0600a74fafc348c3bead0876d5c80821MD52trueAnonymousREADLICENSElicense.txtlicense.txttext/plain;
