The research evaluated the condition of urban mobility in the Portal Sudoeste residential subdivision, located node neighborhood Three Sisters, area south from the city of Campina Large – PB. The subdivision was designed by Construtora Andrade Marinho – LMF, and was the first of three phases delivered in August 2013 with a total of 2,153 lots in the 8x20 standard. The central proposal of the project was to be the first planned neighborhood in the city. Associated with the study of urban mobility, the research to analyze the standard of expansion urban of Meadow Big to verify the dynamics of displacement in the city, with the purpose of establishing a correlation between urban expansion and urban mobility. The definition of the urban mobility model for Campina Grande allowed us to determine how the guidelines of the urban mobility policy contained in Law 12.587/2012, of PLAMOB and of the guidelines to the expansion urban established by the Master Plan were and still are being executed node Portal South-west. THE objective central from the search and to assess the mobility urban on the Portal South-west analyzing as to the guidelines from the Law 12.587/2012 and of Flat of Mobility Urban of Campina Grande – PLAMOB. The methodology applied had as its main reference the research developed by Ruiz (2015). The analysis process was developed in three steps: i) basis theoretical of the concepts of space, territory and as these correlate with the concept of urban mobility, urban structure and connectivity; ii) analyses of the urban insertion of the object in the study area through spatial analysis, as well as an examination of the legislation from the Law of Mobility Urban and of Flat of Mobility Urban PLAMOB of Meadow Big - PB, and iii) investigation through of questionnaire electronic of Google Forms with to the people residents of Portal Sudoeste evaluating the mobility conditions and urban structure of the subdivision specifically identifying the profile of the public collective transportation system that serves the region. It was possible identify, node Portal South-west, one evident dependence the use of automobiles, both as a result of the occupation pattern, which requires the automobile for travel, one time that to the areas intended to the expansion urban second the Direct Plan are in the edges from the city, or it is, distant of Center where yet if concentrates you posts of work, trade and services and also for the lack of provision of service of transport collective. The analysis of the data allowed us to highlight the close relationship that urban planning and transport system planning must have to ensure favorable urban mobility conditions for the democratization of urban space.
