Resumo: | This work is an approach to high school in order to teach probability, exploring the lottery games, especially the Mega Sena which attracts many gamblers. The brief history of the development of probability theory aims to be the most attractive one for discussion of the topic. The chapter covering the theory has enough examples and UERJ vestibular issues aiming to give the reader practical examples and show the importance of this topic in college entrance exams, especially in the vestibular of the UERJ. In the third chapter, the reader will be familiar with the rules of lotteries. The next chapter calculates the chances of hits in lottery games. In the penultimate chapter the reader is faced with some educational activities aimed at attracting the attention of the student and put him as the protagonist, helping you to better understand the topic being taught. Finally, the sixth and final chapter presents the conclusion and the author's expectations in relation to work and educational practices proposed here |

O breve histórico do desenvolvimento da teoria das probabilidades visa ser um atrativo a mais para a discussão do tópico. O capítulo que aborda a teoria tem bastantes exemplos e questões do vestibular da UERJ objetivando dar ao leitor exemplos práticos e mostrar a importância deste tópico nos vestibulares, em especial no vestibular da UERJ. No terceiro capítulo, o leitor ficará a par das regras das loterias. O capítulo seguinte calcula as chances de acertos nos jogos de loterias. No penúltimo capítulo o leitor se depara com algumas atividades pedagógicas que visam atrair a atenção do aluno e colocá-lo como protagonista, ajudando-o a compreender melhor o tópico a ser ensinado.
