Resumo: This work is a visual ethnographic narrative resulting from an research about The Party of Pombagira Queen of Seven Crossroads at Cabana do Preto Velho da Mata Escura, an umbanda yard located in Bom Jardim neighborhood, in Fortaleza, Ceará state. The party is the central element of this research which is also composed by religion, body and image matters. This visual narrative is made of images produced by the author and reveals compreehension maps to the exercise of the visual anthropology. The text brings the descrition of seven giras, of the procession, the sacrifices and the Queen Party, highlightening its complexities and tensions within the religious and cultural universe of this yard community. This research proposes a link between writing, image and poetics adding contribution to visual anthropology and religion knowledge in Brazil.
