Prazer e sofrimento no trabalho: vivências de mulheres policiais civis do Ceará à luz da psicodinâmica do trabalho

The following research has as objective the description of the professional experiencies of pleasure and suffering of the women police officers that work on the Police Stations of Defense of the Women of the Ceará state in the light of the dimensions of the Psychodynamics of Work from a study accomplished in the Civil Police of Ceará. The approach was supported by studies of Psychodynamics of Work developed by Dejours (2015), which studies the experiences of pleasure and suffering in the organization of work. The work addressed the sources of pleasure and the factors of suffering experienced among women police officers who work in assisting women in situations of domestic and family violence in women's police stations in the State of Ceará. This is a qualitative and descriptive research. Data collection was carried out through semi-structured interviews with 30 police officers who work in these specialized police stations. For the data analysis process, the Sense Nuclei Analysis technique was used. The results indicated that the experiences of pleasure at work are related to identification with police activity and recognition by society of providing an efficient public service. In the organization of work, respect and hierarchy prevail; actual work often exceeds prescribed; working conditions were considered satisfactory; in intra institutional relations, harmonious and respectful coexistence was highlighted, as well as freedom of action. The experiences of suffering are related to work overload, devaluation on the part of the institution's commands and prejudice on the part of professional colleagues from other police stations, both because they are women, working in a typically male profession, and because they work with vulnerable groups: women, trans women, children and the elderly.
