O trabalho foi desenvolvido no Departamento Enfermagem da Universidade .Federal do Ceará, no período de novembro de 2000 a junho dc 2001, ern três etapas: .Etapa 1 - pré-avaliação dos especialistas.; Etapa 2 Avaliação, por alunos e professores, da disciplina; e Etapa 3 — Painel de especialistas. Ttabalhou-se com um total de 12 alunos divididos em dois grupos denominados "caso” e “Controle”.
