The work was developed in the Department of Nursing of the Federal University of Ceará, in the period of November of 2000 to june of 2001 in three reages: Stage 1 - the specialists1 prccvaluadon; Stagc 2 - Cvahiahon tos students and teachers of the stages.Estudo baseado na produção e validação de on software educativo denominado '"Sinais Vitais”, tendo como base uma experiencia efettuada junto a especialistas, alunos e professores que trabalhavam corn o referido tema.Objetivou-se validar o software visando a contribuir com o ensino nesta área do conhecimento de enfermagem. O trabalho foi desenvolvido no Departamento Enfermagem da Universidade .Federal do Ceará, no período de novembro de 2000 a junho dc 2001, ern três etapas: .Etapa 1 - pré-avaliação dos especialistas.; Etapa 2 Avaliação, por alunos e professores, da disciplina; e Etapa 3 — Painel de especialistas. Ttabalhou-se com um total de 12 alunos divididos em dois grupos denominados "caso” e “Controle”.
