Educação sexual feminina e os benefícios da Terapia Tântrica: narrativas de mulheres do Ceará

Resumo: In our patriarchal society, sexuality has always been seen as an object of reprehension and this has negatively influenced the healthy experience of female sexuality. The general objective of this dissertation was to understand how Tantra can help women by providing practical changes in the way they see their sexuality. Initially, theoretical approaches were made about the concept of sex and sexuality, highlighting how this development occurs in childhood, puberty, adulthood, and aging. A historical approach of sexuality was carried out, detailing the phenomenon of sexual repression and its consequences on female sexuality through the most varied sexual dysfunctions. The difficulty of educators in dealing with issues of sexuality with students was also addressed, emphasizing the need for this theme to be discussed not only in formal environments, but also in informal and non-formal environments, giving emphasis to an emancipatory approach to sexuality. Then, a historical analysis of the tantric philosophy was made, contemplating the work focused on women, developed in Ceará, aiming to know what positive changes women perceive in their sexuality from the contact with the tantric knowledge. The methodology used approached theoretically with more emphasis the qualitative research, which, in the Human Sciences, is considered of great value, since it requires from the researcher the direct contact with the object of research investigated, studies of social issues and interest in subjective issues of the subjects involved in the research. The procedure used for data collection was the technique of non-directive interviews and the instrument of the open questionnaire for collecting oral narratives, which were explored taking into consideration the meanderings of subjectivity present in the expressions of each subject. One concluded that tantra has sensory and non-repressive characteristics, and for this reason is considered a path of empowerment and strengthening of the feminine. When women seek to know the educational principles of tantra in sexuality, it contributes to her emotional and sexual liberation.

Esta dissertação teve como objetivo geral compreender de que forma o tantra pode auxiliar as mulheres ao proporcionar mudanças práticas no modo como encaram a sua sexualidade. Inicialmente foram feitas abordagens teóricas acerca do conceito de sexo e de sexualidade, pontuando como ocorre esse desenvolvimento na infância, na puberdade, na vida adulta e no envelhecimento. Realizouse uma abordagem histórica da sexualidade detalhando o fenômeno da repressão sexual e suas consequências na sexualidade feminina através das mais variadas disfunções sexuais. Abordouse também a dificuldade dos educadores em tratar das questões da sexualidade com os alunos, ressaltando a necessidade dessa temática ser debatida não apenas em ambientes formais, mas também em ambientes informais e não-formais, dando ênfase a uma abordagem emancipatória da sexualidade. Em seguida, foi feita uma análise histórica da filosofia tântrica, contemplando o trabalho voltado para mulheres, desenvolvido no Ceará, a fim de conhecer quais as mudanças positivas que as mulheres percebem na sua sexualidade a partir do contato com o conhecimento tântrico. A metodologia realizada abordou teoricamente com mais ênfase a pesquisa qualitativa, que, nas Ciências Humanas, é considerada de grande valoração, haja vista exigir do sujeito pesquisador o contato direto com o objeto de pesquisa investigado, estudos de questões sociais e o interesse por questões subjetivas dos sujeitos envolvidos na pesquisa. O procedimento adotado para a coleta de dados foram as técnicas de entrevistas não diretivas e o instrumento do questionário aberto para recolha de narrativas orais, as quais foram exploradas levando em consideração os meandros das subjetividades presentes nas expressões de cada sujeito. Concluiu-se que o tantra tem características sensoriais e desrepressoras, e por isso é considerado um caminho de empoderamento e fortalecimento do feminino.
