This dissertation dedicated itself to comprehend how happen the articulation between the no formal education and the formal education in the relation among the Pré-Universitário Popular Alternativa (PUPA), and the graduation courses, concerning the initial formation for teaching of teachers that act in the project. It is purposed to claim the acknowledgment of the Alternativa as a complementary space in the initial education to teaching. For this, it was produced a reflection about the theoretical and methodological basis in no-formal education and popular education, its linking with social movements and the appearance of popular pre-vestibular courses. The text presents, describes and characterizes the PUPA, emphasizing the actuation of educator. They are presented the elements that ground the education of teachers, based in authors that understand it as a continuous process realized through a critical-reflexive perspective. Also, they are presented the methodological assumptions used in the investigation, it is defined as qualitative search that used the technique of focal group as the main source of collect of data. The final considerations indicate a relation of complementarity exercised by PUPA in relation to the superior courses in which the educators are vinculated and it is presented as product of investigation a set of documents to the educator student prove the activities developed in the PUPA.
