Resumo: Transformational leadership is recognized as an effective model for promotinginnovation, engagement, and performance in organizations. The psychological empowerment of employees is essential for developing skills, resilience, and wellbeing in the organizational environment. This study aimed to map key aspects of theprofessional environment, such as motivation, professional training, and perceivedleadership styles, to identify strategies that promote a positive organizational culturefocused on the individual and collective development of Forensic Experts. Theresearch adopted a qualitative approach and was classified as exploratory. Themethodology used was a survey, and data collection was based on the Quality of Lifeat Work Model (QWL). The research was conducted with a sample of one hundredtwenty-two Forensic Experts from the Department of Forensic Laboratory Expertiseat the Leonardo Rodrigues Institute of Criminalistics, part of the Technical-ScientificPolice Superintendent's Office of Goiás. The survey was open to all Forensic Expertsin the department, without specific selection criteria. Only fifteen Forensic Expertsresponded to the survey, providing insights into their satisfaction levels regardingmotivation, professional training, and perceived leadership styles. The participationof only fifteen Criminal Experts in response to the questionnaire constitutes a small fraction of the total population, meaning that the results could not be generalized asrepresentative of the opinion of the entire sample group. Therefore, the results wereanalyzed with caution, especially regarding the possibility of extrapolating them tothe broader audience exposed to the research. The research contributes toemphasizing the importance of emotional management strategies in high-riskenvironments, such as law enforcement, proposing initiatives to develop thepsychological empowerment of employees under transformational leadership, pavingthe way for investigations into the effectiveness of such programs on professional well-being and performance.

Acapacitação psicológica dos colaboradores é essencial para o desenvolvimento dehabilidades, resiliência e bem-estar no ambiente organizacional. O presente trabalhobuscou mapear aspectos fundamentais no ambiente profissional, como motivação, capacitação profissional e os estilos de liderança percebidos, a fim de identificarestratégias que promovam uma cultura organizacional positiva, voltada aodesenvolvimento individual e coletivo dos Peritos Criminais. A pesquisa teve umaabordagem qualitativa e foi classificada como exploratória. A metodologia adotadafoi a survey (pesquisa de levantamento) e para a coleta de dados foi utilizado oModelo de Qualidade de Vida no Trabalho (MQL). A pesquisa foi aplicada em umespaço amostral de cento e vinte e dois Peritos Criminais lotados no Departamento dePerícias Criminais Laboratoriais do Instituto de Criminalística Leonardo Rodrigues, da Superintendência de Polícia Técnico-Científica de Goiás. A pesquisa foi aberta aaos Peritos Criminais lotados no Departamento de Pericias Criminais Laboratoriais, sem a adoção de critérios específicos de seleção. Apenas quinze Peritos Criminaisresponderam a pesquisa, o que nos trouxe inferências a respeito dos níveis desatisfação dos Peritos Criminais, no que tange a motivação, a capacitação profissional e os estilos de liderança percebidos. A participação de apenas quinze PeritosCriminais em resposta ao questionário constitui uma fração pequena da populaçãototal, trazendo que os resultados não puderam ser generalizados como representativosda opinião de todo o grupo amostral. Dessa forma, os resultados foram analisadoscom cautela, especialmente no que diz respeito à possibilidade de extrapolá-los para opúblico que foi exposto à pesquisa.
