Resumo: Volleyball is a sport that involves explosive actions and fast movements, jumping is an important element for success in this mode. For the analysis of the jump there are several techniques such as squat jumps and countermovement jump, these jumps are considered symmetrical, but the specific jumps of volleyball are asymmetrical. Thus, the aims of the present study were to verify if the asymmetric demand of the volleyball jumps is manifested in the standard jumps, squat jump, countermovement Jump without the arms swing and countermovement jump with the arms swing, causing significant differences in the dynamic variables, between the dominant and non-dominant lower limbs. According to the analysis by paired Student's t test, when comparing the dominant and non-dominant, there was a significant difference for the variables Impulse, rate of force production, weight distribution and peak force. It can be concluded that all variables analyzed in this study showed a significant difference between dominant and non-dominant members, which allows us to infer that asymmetric demands, training, and competition itself are manifested in vertical jumps, countermovement jump with and without the swing of the arms and the squat jump.
