Resumo: The explorations in the linguistic universe allow us to observe and understand the different manifestations of language uses and the social and cultural relations involved in this process of manifestations. Among the various fields of linguistics, one field can be highlighted whose activities have revealed important findings in relation to the uses made of language: Phonetic sciences. The integrated performance of this field of linguistics has shown, among many other findings, the social and cultural relations established in the variable production of the sounds of the language. As an example, the investigations fo- cused on the auditory- perceptual sphere of phonetic production substantially as- sist in the understanding of the mobilizations of the phonatory apparatus and in the adjustments of the vocal tract, adjustments of muscular tension and phona- tory adjustments of a subject (CAMARGO and MADUREIRA, 2008a). In this case, we sought to investigate these adjustments made by homoaffective sub- jects. Thus, the aim of this work is to analyze the quality and vocal dynamics of agroup of homo-affective cisgender male subjects using the Vocal Profile AnalysisScheme for Brazilian Portuguese script, hereinafter VPAS– PB. This study is ob- servational, cross-sectional, quantitative and qualitative. 10 homo-affective sub- jects participated, residing for at least one year in the city of João Pessoa - PB. The speech samples of these subjects (reading three vehicle sentences from the VPAS-PB, in addition to semi-spontaneous speech) were collected in an environ- ment with acoustic treatment. The speech samples were analyzed from an audi- tory-perceptual point of view, such as the use of the VPAS-PB script, by three experienced judges with the use of the script, who judged the samples in consen- sus. The data obtained were submitted to statistical analysis, more specifically to cluster analysis, through the SPSS program. The results demonstrated the grouping into four categories of cluster, which showed similarities in the quality adjustments and aspects of vocal dynamics. The results obtained from the speech samples grouped in the four clusters lead to the conclusion that, in a certain way, there is a similarity in the vocal quality adjustments and aspects of vocal dynamics among the analyzed homoaffective subjects, regardless of the points evaluated in the research, such as age , place of birth, time of residence outside Paraíba, among others. The findings of this research also reveal the marked importance of studies on vocal quality and vocal dynamics of LGBTQI groups, as a way to avoid social stereotypes and outline panoramas of clearer approaches.
