Resumo: Despite all the epistemological movements in Geography that have discussed the concept of Nature, dualistic discourses still persist. With Geography's systematization occurring during the modern period, the discipline reflected the typical Man/Nature duality of that time. Thus, the objective of this work is to analyze the concept of Nature in Marxist Geography and the conception of Nature within Complexity Theory, aiming to establish a dialogical approach between these perspectives. Methodologically, a bibliographic review was conducted, employing a historical and comparative analysis of the concepts. This research finds that, despite the particularities of each perspective, both Complexity Theory and Marxist thought offer a critical approach to the Man/Nature duality, and that adopting a dialogical perspective contributes to the epistemic and practical advancement of Geographic Science. The obtained results were the divergences and convergences of the approaches based on the notions of (1) totality, (2) production, (3) irreversibility, and (4) autonomy and dependence.

Deste modo, o objetivo deste trabalho é analisar o conceito de Natureza da Geografia Crítica e a concepção de Natureza da Complexidade, visando estabelecer uma abordagem dialógica entre as vertentes. Em termos metodológicos, realizou-se uma pesquisa bibliográfica, possuindo como procedimento uma análise histórica e comparativa entre as concepções. Verifica-se com esta pesquisa que apesar das particularidades dos pressupostos, o pensamento da Complexidade e o marxista oferecem uma problematização da dualidade Homem/Natureza e que a realização de uma perspectiva dialógica contribui para o avanço epistêmico e prático da Ciência Geográfica.
